Considerato il periodo di Festività che ci aspetta 🐇 🥚 e l'impossibilità di fare esattamente quello che avevamo in programma per questo lungo fine settimana, molti di noi (io soprattutto) farò lunghissime sessioni di gaming!
Un argomento che non abbiamo ancora affrontato nella Community e che é perfettamente in tema con il periodo é quello delle "Easter Eggs" nome delle Uova di Pasqua che nel Gaming rimane non tradotto.
Potete vantare di aver scoperto da soli un Easter Egg? (io no, o quasi).
Prima vediamo cosa é esattamente un Easter Egg, con l'aiuto di Wikipedia:

L'unico Easter Egg che ho scoperto personalmente non era così difficile da trovare, in Super Mario Bros 3. Non ricordo esattamente in che quadro, volando in alto, oltre il limite dello schermo si poteva scoprire uno scenario nascosto. Non ho trovato info online ma magari qualcuno lo ricorda.

WoW è pieno zeppo di easter eggs e riferimenti sarcastici a tante belle cose. Mi affascina trovare degli elementi particolari in qualsiasi videogame, e pensare che qualcuno l'abbia messo proprio lì pensando/sperando che qualcun altro possa notarlo e apprezzarlo.

Verissimo, GLaDOS! é davvero affascinante immaginare lo sviluppatore, o chi é dietro al gioco, posizionare l’ester egg ignaro di quello che succeda dopo!
Immagino poi la loro emozione quando hanno modo di vedere dopo anni un video come quello che hai postato qui! ...La regina delle foche mi ha fatto troppo ridere! Non lo conoscevo 🤣
Credo che iniziare un gioco sapendo che ha sorprese nascoste te lo fa vivere diversamente. L’esperienza é piu’ piena, hai l’impressione che ogni elemento, ogni texture o oggetto siano stati posizionati lì per una ragione!

Sempre su wow, non so se ci sta ancora, ma avevano ricreato per un'espansione, un vecchio dungeon o comunque una sua versione più aggiornata, inserendo al suo interno il personaggio di Leeroy Jenkins, divenuto famoso proprio perché era Afk e, ancora con vanilla, mentre il raid decideva la tattica migliore, lui, rientrando dall'afk, aveva esclamato un "Leeeeroooy Jeeenkins" (divenuto successivamente un achievement se uccidi tot draghetti in tot secondi) e si era buttato a capofitto nella stanza piena di sti famosi draghetti, causando una strage di massa xD
Il dungeon fu rivisionato con lui, con lui che va Afk per banchettare etc. Non ricordo l'espansione, se su Legion o Battle for Azeroth

Le cose assurde comunque su Wow sono le mount segrete. Ovvero quelle mount che devi seguire un percorso preciso per ottenerle.
Ci sta su Discord un canale apposito.
Normalmente segnalano quando alcune mount sono disponibili (tipo quelle che hanno uno spawn particolare o a tempo), ma quando la Blizzard fa uscire una nuova mount "segreta", ci si mettono in una marea a cercare. Ricordo che, quando uscì il Lucid Nightmare, su Discord, in vocale, a verificare gli ultimi passaggi e dove/come ottenerla, c'erano oltre 500 persone connesse. Un panico xD
Io ero a cena fuori, per un compleanno, ma aprii Discord col tel. Ricordo che passai minuti interi per vedere la fine dell'elenco xD
Credo che sia stata la mount più difficile. Perché, mi pare fosse in come ottenerla, uno dei passaggi richiedeva di arrivare al limite del fatigue, in mare, in cima ad uno dei territori delle isole di Legion, sott'acqua, selezionare la pietra giusta in mezzo a tante altre incagliate nella prua (o era la poppa?) di una nave. Una merda xD ci persi una marea di tempo. Uno, per capire il punto. Due, per raggiungerlo senza morire prima. Tre perché appena arrivi muori e quindi devi tornare al corpo, resuscitare, cliccare e morire di nuovo xD un incubo (appunto). E io mi immagino quelli che, in giro di poco, son riusciti a trovare dove andare... Tutta la mia ammirazione!
O anche la mount "mindflayer" o una cosa simile. Che bisognava essere in 5 almeno, perché bisognava essere in 4 posti diversi in contemporanea a uccidere un mob di un certo tipo, mentre il quinto, non appena i colori venivano tolti, doveva entrare e raccogliere un oggetto... E poi c'erano degli indovinelli o delle prove da fare. Tipo quella dove dovevi arrivare dall'altro lato della stanza, ma dovevi capire tra i tuoi compagni chi era il traghettatore, chi era leggero e chi era pesante... Veramente geniali, davvero.

Oo per il momento mi sento davvero un novellino, mi sono appena emozionato perche' ho scoperto la modalità mascotte / pet in Wow che a sua volta mi sembra una sorta di easter egg o gioco nel gioco. Le lotte tra pets o la cattura degli animaletti selvatici mi sembra molto un richiamo a Pokemon. Non voglio dire eresie, mi scuso in anticipo se ho preso un abbaglio, magari era tutto gia' iniziato prima in wow, ma davvero mi ha ricordato la cattura dei pokemon o le sfide tra allenatori!

Alcuni pet si ottengono solo in un certo modo, tra l'altro. Ho vaghi ricordi di una marea di draghetti da uccidere per far spawnare quella categoria... Ma potrei sbagliarmi, son passati anni.
Io son sempre stata completista e cacciatrice di achievement, quindi puoi ben capire che ogni segreto mi andavo ad informare o a vedere come ottenere cosa xD farmandomi reputazione su reputazione per sbloccare tutto, anche solo a livello estetico...
Ci sono sicuramente segreti anche adesso, io ormai sono 2 anni che non gioco a wow

Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lenovo and its employees, officers, affiliates and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with any of the following: (i) Your Content or your misuse of the Platform; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; (iv) your violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances or orders of any governmental authorities, including, without limitation, all regulatory, administrative and legislative authorities; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. You will cooperate as reasonably requested by Lenovo with respect to any such claim. Lenovo reserves the right to assume control of the defence or settlement of any such claim, and you will not in any event settle any such claim without the prior written consent of Lenovo.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England.
Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, LENOVO HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ANY WARRANTIES BASED ON A COURSE OF DEALING. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LENOVO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR USE, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE LEGION COMMUNITY, EVEN IF LENOVO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGES IN ADVANCE.
