    Hi everyone!

Which antivirus software are you using on your gaming devices? Anyone using McAfee?

All new Lenovo devices get the award-winning McAfee Lifesave antivirus pre-installed for devices that ship to France, Italy, Germany, UK, Spain, Nordic countries and Poland. It can be used for free for the first 30 days to test how you feel about it while gaming!

McAfee has a unique approach that delivers a faster, quieter and safer gaming experience with performance-enhancing tehcnologies such as their MicroAV and Game Boost Engines.

Which features are important to you when choosing your antivirus software? Do you use a different one on your gaming device compared to others? Le me know in the comments or head over to the Nordic, Italian or Spanish discussions! 👍

    Hello,

I am currently using Norton 360 which I bought alongside Lenovo Legion PC package. I have never been a big fan of McAfee actually. I had Lenovo Ideacentre A540 for a while before Legion tower with McAfee LiveSafe preinstalled on it. I felt it was too heavy, took too much memory and gave too much false positives. I am not saying it would be a bad choice, just not right for myself. For gaming setup, McAfee is not something I could recommend.

Personally I do value antivirus being as lightweight as possible, not consuming too much memory when working on background while still being extremely reliable and blocking the threats. I have been very happy of how Norton 360 has worked. Its cloud-based virus protection database has proved it really works. I was thinking Kaspersky as well, but decided to go with Norton 360 and have not regretted that. So far not a single virus has reached my PC.
