I have recently had the opportunity to hold on a legion machine which led me here.

I am not very active gamer but I like to enjoy when I can.
I like RTS, FPS, Simulators like Farming, Trains etc. I am looking forward to try Age of empires IV (Even classics if I am able to make that work on windows 11), Halo, Forza Horizon (Love to explore its world), Battle Field, Farming Simulator 22 etc.

I am happy to join and looking forward for a good and growing community here.
Oh and I take my coffee without milk and sugar.

    Mvh,
    /Malik

Welcome! I like my coffee black, too. Although in the morning cappuccino can be great, easier on the not so full stomach.

As @Saka said, welcome @amirimran! I am not much of a simulator player myself, but what other RTS do you play? Anything of the Warhammer 40K variety, maybe?

And I do not drink coffee. I know it does not make me popular to admit it, but it is what it is.

@Saka, no, not at all, I was not into coffee either but when you live long in Sweden, you can not escape :). Well, at least in my case.

I do not have access to Warhammer 40K yet, even though I saw a page on Lenovo that some devices with series 30 cards may get it free but may be bcz I am Mobile Legion 😎 i am not counted for that.

I would give it a try if I can find that on Xbox store.

On the other hand, on my prime time of gaming I have been playing Command and Conquers series, Dune etc. Also have been quite crazy about unreal tournament, I can still remember the sound of "Head shot" (while playing a sniper in there for the team).

Now I have to be careful what is on my Screens, as I have two kidos and they see what I am playing and then they like to take turns 😀. (Not to mention that when they get more exited, then they mimic things 🙄)

@amirimran Hah, I guess the Polarnatt would do that. 😂

@amirimran ah, maybe coffee in Sweden is indeed inescapable. In my case, I drink concentrated chocolate powder with milk, the one you normally bake with high cocoa percentage. That drink is so strong it's bitter (in a good way), but it gives me the same effect coffee does and without all that caffeine (there is some in chocolate, though, but not much).

As far as Warhammer 40K is concerned, you can get a good deal if you hurry for Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War, that's a decent strategy, but it's turn-based. RTS-wise, Dawn of War is probably the most famous in that universe, but it is quite dated now.

But that's just Warhammer 40K. You mentioned Command & Conquers, those are good, early ones in particular (IMHO). But it's been a while since we got something from that franchise. Have you tried Iron Harvest?

Ned to be careful around kiddies, that's true, but gaming makes for a nice bonding experience. There are good age-appropriate games, though it depends on how old they are. Do you have any games you play together with them?

Huh, I often drink hot chocolate that way, but it doesn't have that effect on me. It is very good for sore throat though.

Perhaps in the Nordics coffee is inevitable. Most Finns I know drink tons of it. Myself, I go for quality over quantity. I don't drink that much, but the concoction I make at home could raise the dead. I like the gentle bubbling of a moka pot on the stove (maybe ironic to a deaf person to state that, but sometimes I do have access to some hearing) and the smell is just divine.

Then I just drink all that black like the polar night and fix my sugar levels by chomping on a Tupla or Geisha bar. Mmm.
