I think that society's view is the biggest problem and it can be solved with difficulty by holding competitions and championships, in my opinion.

The biggest challenge faced by gamers in the Arab world is the lack of local support for esports and the absence of professional events that help develop skills.

One of the biggest challenges female gamers face today is harassment and toxicity in online gaming spaces. Many female gamers experience sexist comments, threats, and other forms of verbal abuse, which can discourage them from participating or advancing in the industry
The community can help break these barriers by creating more inclusive and welcoming spaces for all gamers. Here are a few ways to do that:

    1. Promote Positive Behavior: Encourage respectful and supportive interactions in gaming communities. Call out toxic behavior and support those who are targeted.
    2. Provide Safe Spaces: Create platforms and communities where female gamers can connect, share experiences, and build networks without fear of harassment.
    3. Increase Representation: Support and highlight female gamers, streamers, and developers. Representation matters, and seeing more women in these roles can inspire others to join and stay in the industry.
    4. Organize Events and Workshops: Host events and workshops that focus on inclusivity and diversity in gaming. These can provide valuable networking opportunities and foster a sense of community.
By working together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for female gamers

I highly think that gender-based toxicity is a significant obstacle for female gamers today. Because of their gender, many female gamers experience harassment, doubt about their abilities, or undervaluation.

    The community can help by:
-Calling out toxicity, promoting inclusivity (more women in leadership, casting, and esports teams means better representation), creating safe spaces for girls and supporting female-led initiatives.

I totally agree with all the replies. Toxicity, high ping, harassments and lack of support are huge issues.

do gamer girls feel more like boys or they continue to have the feminine characteristics?
because i hear some gamer girls that are saying that they socialize more with men and they adopt a more masculine behavior.

One of the biggest challenges female gamers face today is toxicity and harassment in online spaces. Many female players experience discrimination, verbal abuse, or are not taken seriously in competitive gaming. This creates a barrier to entry and discourages many from pursuing esports or streaming at a high level.

To break these barriers, the gaming community needs to foster inclusivity by actively challenging toxic behavior, supporting female led gaming initiatives, and encouraging more women to take leadership roles in the industry. Game developers can also implement stronger moderation tools to create safer environments.

    Question:
Do you think gaming companies and esports organizations are truly committed to gender inclusivity, or are their efforts more about marketing and PR?

I don’t know if the female gamers in this community have experienced this, but even before stepping into the notoriously toxic world of online gaming, the people in my circle who played games were often frowned upon by their families because gaming was seen as a “manly” activity.

I remember gifting my cousin a Game Boy, and hooooly moly my uncle did not like that at all 😬 Sadly, many aspiring female gamers had their passion snuffed out early because of the culture around them. I sincerely hope this changes with our generation.

I’d love to know if any of you have experienced the same stigma I mentioned. Is this a global issue, or is it more specific to certain countries?
