    Hello Legion Gamers!

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II i out today!

Now we can all return to the grim world of Norse mythology and Senua with her mental health disorder impressively portrayed in the first game. To commemorate the occasion, Ninja Theory head Dom Matthews wrote gamers a very nice Thank You message:

And this is not all. Ninja Theory is famously passionate about making games as accessible as possible and included various options to make the game inclusive as they did in the first one. Here are some of the things that they did for this game:

26 languages support and the voiced menu is impressive, would be nice if this level of effort became at least the industry standard. @Saka what do you think?

And the game is included in the Game Pass from day one. @GoLLuM13 are you going to play it?

@DoctorEldritch I barely touched the first one, so I doubt I will do this one before at least finishing the first one

    Same, actually 😅

In all seriousness, it is not a game to be approached lightly, you need a specific mindset to venture into it and fully enjoy and appreciate it, I think, and I am not in that head space currently. Maybe later.

@DoctorEldritch Those accessibility options are impressive. Customizable captions really ought to become industry standard. For some people it really matters how things are displayed, and disabilities are often walking in pairs.

On the regional languages, that's good too. I've met multiple people who are hesitant to play some titles they'd be otherwise interested in, but they'd rather play the games in their own languages.

@Saka About customizable captions, I see them more and more these days, which is good. My note is that it would maybe help if there was an option to control the time of how long they are visible, or even maybe adjust the speed of cutscenes a bit (not so much that it would distort it, but somewhere between 1 and 0.75, like YT has. Sometimes when there are many things happening all at once, it could help for the pace to be just a bit slower. Or maybe that's me...

Localization to other languages is important, and I am not just saying it because that's what I used to do for a living 😄 But as far as localizing voices is concerned, a lot of work needs to go into selecting proper actors, voices of some characters became iconic to them. Like Geralt, for example. It would be so nice if we had a way to visually reflect that...
