I remember when I was 5 years old, I loved watching Nickelodeon, the Arabic version, even though the cartoon programs were not as many as the original, but there were very wonderful cartoons that shaped my childhood.

@Aaricia A while ago I discovered that using Disney+ with VPN set to United States grants you access to the series from Winnie the Pooh that was shown in "dobranocka". 😆

Dunno why they didn't make that one accessible in other regions.

@Saka I loved Winnie the Pooh too! Now I am getting nostalgic 😀

@Maiky123 A similar thing happened to me, I used to watch Cartoon Network as a child, and then it stopped being available in Poland too. So I had to start watching other channels and there I came across Sailor Moon 🤩

@Aaricia Oh, I watched Cartoon Network a lot too! I don't know when it stopped being available though. 🤔

@DoctorEldritch I watched everything that interesting (according to little me) on TV, I used to go from a channel to another, to make a schedule 😂, I watched comics, Batman, Superman, X-Men, Spider-Man, French /Belgian stuff like "Tintin", "Spirou", "Pif et Hercule"..., animes obviously and let's not forgot "Freakazoid", Animaniacs and all those Warner Stuff 😁
I, indeed, introduced my niece to animes, but not that much, she started "Naruto" but couldn't finish it, because the only way for her to watch it is, if she's with me, good news though, she almost finished "Demon Slayer" or at least she's almost up-to-date.
I remember when she was younger she used to like to sit next to me and watch One Piece, whether it's in French or Japanese, when it was in Japanese, I hit pause and explain her what they're saying 😂

This is sweet. Though Naruto and One Piece are interesting choices to start, given how long they are. My first anime was one of the longer ones, but not that long. And I watched the first season of Demon Slayer, but now am waiting for them to be done with it before I continue. Can take some time, but the Attack on titan ending has finally arrived, so I can now watch that.

I watched some of Hey Arnold as a kid, but not continuously, just episodically. Did you know they recently made a "direct-to-tv" movie to "finally wrap up" the series, 15 years after the last movie?

And I did watch the whole of As told by Ginger as a kid, that cartoon actually had serialized continuity, sort of, so can be watched like a proper series, so that's what I did.
