@DracoTarot Nothing Else Matters is really mild, maybe that's why. When I heard it, I thought it was not a very typical example of metal sound. It has maybe more utility to be used in combination with other art forms. More typical metal is more energetic and aggressive. I can see it working with UFC, but can't think of anything else that could be a good fit.

@DoctorEldritch Well, bodybuilding and weightlifting also could fit into this category. I attended a few gyms where a group of bodybuilders and weightlifters preferred to listen to metal. I myself felt more motivated to lift weights when a metal tune played in the gym. It gets the adrenaline going.

Another is skateboarding or even snowboarding.

@DracoTarot That could work, though I am not sure if going to the gym can be fully seen as a sport. I mean, if you look at sports definition as physical exhaustion activity, then yes, but on the other hand, weightlifting is a proper Olympic category, but bodybuilding is not, there are tournaments where people can demonstrate their body gains but do not perform any physical activity, kind of like a fashion show. I guess it depends on what definition you're using when thinking about sports.

Skateboarding or snowboarding could work too, not sure about mountain skiing, though. When I do it, I usually listen to chanson. Then again, skiing is no snowboarding.

@DoctorEldritch I remember a few years back they actually wanted bodybuilders to compete in the Olympics but it seems the organisers decided only to include weightlifting. Bodybuilding seems to be seen as a sport here in SA and when there is a competition held most of the ads would show "Bodybuilding sporting event" or something similar.

@DracoTarot I must admit I was never really into bodybuilding. I am all for a fit body, but I feel that bodybuilding may take things too far. But I really do not know enough about that subculture to give an informed opinion, that's just my impression based on what I can see. But either way, metal does seem to fit it.

@DoctorEldritch I agree with you. Some do take it too far. I guess in any sport people do tend to go overboard. Some are more competitive than others.

@DracoTarot I guess that is the case for activities where it is possible, technically, to be the best in the world. If you can become the World Champion and know that this one thing you can do better than anyone else in the world, you want to work for it.

That's why I prefer everything as a hobby and leave competitions to those who enjoy the challenge. I am more

@DoctorEldritch I also have the same mindset. I'm really not a competitive person. I do have a question though, do we still have the opportunity to level up our profiles on the Legion community or is level 52 the highest level achievable?

@DracoTarot It gets harder to earn the levels the higher your level is, just as in games, but 52 is not the highest you can reach.
