    1. Gaming improved my cognitive abilities such as problem-solving, decision-making, attention, and hand-eye coordination. Enhanced my analytical and critical thinking skills, which have been beneficial in various aspects of my life till now.

    2. Gaming helped in developing my social skills by allowing me to interact with other players from different backgrounds and cultures. Multiplayer games often require players to communicate, collaborate and work together, which has enhanced my teamworking skills.

    3. Gaming has been a great stress reliever for me. By engaging in an entertaining and immersive game, I take a break from the stress of my daily life and unwind. It helps me relax and improve my overall well-being.

    4. Gaming has provided a form of escapism, allowing me to temporarily forget about my problems and immerse myself in a different world. It was beneficial for me when I was going through difficult times.

    5. Above all, gaming is a fun and enjoyable activity. Playing games brings joy and excitement into my life, which has a positive impact on my mood and overall happiness.

Overall, gaming has impacted me in various ways, and its effects can be both positive and negative. I always make sure to maintain a healthy balance between gaming and other aspects of my life, such as work, social relationships, and physical activity, to ensure a well-rounded and fulfilling life.

@QueenTomato: Talking about gaming bring fond memories, from my first gaming memories with my Atari through my first Prince of Persia computer game, Street Fighter in the arcade, Sonic on the Sega Mega Drive, to my teenage years playing Need for Speed on the PC, Counter-Strike, and Tekken on Playstation 2 and 3, the list of prior gaming experiences keeps growing along with the nostalgia.

Gaming was a big boon during the days I couldnt step out back then, and even more recently during the inital months of Covid, games and movies were the biggest boredorm busters & time killers I possessed.
My life has been much improved by gaming. Positively, playing video games encouraged me to be competitive and helped me develop cognitive abilities like problem-solving, spatial awareness, and decision-making. It enabled me to feel a sense of joy and achievement after successfully completing challenging tasks or earning excellent marks. The development of online gaming connections has given individuals a social outlet and made it easier to meet people with similar interests to mine.

Speaking about changing as a person, video games like Counter-Strike, Battlefield, etc. were crucial in fostering my growth as a team player, my ability to work well with others, and my social awareness. In my professional life, I continue to hone this practical application. I used to like playing racing and driving games, then I moved on to team based games, and then I slowly started enjoying bouts of playing strategy-based games. Each of them has taught me something that I can internalize, such as improved problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, or successful communication. Gaming was also a big boost to my creativity.

This is not to say, gaming didnt create negative influences. During my younger days, I got obessed with computer games, that I would refuse to socialize or go outside too often to play. By lacking physical activity, I soon became behind in strength or stamina which I overcame thanks to inspiration from games like Contra, Double Dragon or Shinobi on the computer.( The nostalgia bouts contiue!!)

As a person, have I evolved due to gaming? Yes, defintely. Lots of positives, made me who I am.

Hi, I'm Talha, A 27-year-old gamer who has been an avid gamer since he was eight years old. Growing up, I found solace in playing video games, as my father was mostly absent from my life during my childhood. So as any other kid, I would spend hours immersed in the virtual worlds, exploring new landscapes, completing quests, and making new friends in games like Harry Potter, Monsters Inc, Freedom Fighters, Call Of Duty, Left 4 Dead, Counter-Strike, Sims 2, Max Payne, the Hitman series, and many other gems of the past. As I got older, my love for gaming only grew even stronger; I started to appreciate the artistry and the storytelling that went into creating immersive games like Life Is Strange, The Walking Dead Series From TellTale, Assassins Creed Series, and the Metro Series, which happen to be my favorites. For me, gaming is more than just a hobby; it's a way of life, and I love being able to enjoy every single minute of it.
