Some people see Video Games have negative side and will damage their children's performance at school.

But the positive benefits of videogames include improved powers of concentration, creativity, memory, languages and teamwork which I touch it by myself, and I am look for it with my kid skills improvement.

@QueenTomato, Games has started affecting on my lifestyle since a very early age. The first strategic games, that i loved to spend time with, were all in English and i barely understood what people on the maps wanted from me. So it put the first brick into my passion of learning new languages. Now i know 4, wich is not that impressive yet, but the main step is already behind all thanks to that first games:)

I'm an avid video gamer since I was 10 years old. This gaming interest was with me until my college days. Now since being a working professional, I don't get much time to play video games. I would like to restart with my gaming interests in weekends and there's no better way to restart than owning the new Lenovo Legion 5 laptop. I'm sure it would be an interactive and unforgettable gaming experience for me..

Gaming has helped me in 2 ways

    1. It's my escape from real life! for a few hours I can just be in my own imaginary world, and be free to drive as fast as I want to or destroy my enemies without going to jail, it's freedom in the palm of your hands.

    2. It's helped me look at real life situations in different ways by relating them to the games I play, granted I cannot swing from webs from my wrists to get from point A to B faster but sometimes the way your character chooses to make their next move makes a lot of sense, sometimes characters stories are so relatable that you can actually follow their lead and do the same thing in real life.

Gaming has always been an outlet for me to escape into to and just to be myself and unwind for a bit, I've had many problems that I wouldn't wish to bring back but I know that gaming played a vital role in helping me through that journey and coming out on the other side as a better person.

Additionally, playing games with friends or joining online communities has allowed me to make new connections and build lasting relationships with people who share similar interests. Gaming has really helped me to get closer to the people I love and meet new people that hold a special place in my heart today. Especially through COVID and other times where I felt really lonely and stuff, talking to people in random VALORANT lobbies or stacking with my friends at late nights really helped me through that time. I'm forever thankful to gaming and how much of an impact it has had on me.

I thought of just writing a boring essay about how gaming helps you scientifically and all of that, but I thought a more personal version would be better, so I apologize if its kind of different haha.

Personally, gaming has just helped me be myself. It has honestly played a major rule during my vital years (13-18) and has honestly become a part of my personality lol. During these past few years I've faced many trials and troubles but well, what can I say lol, gaming has kept me company through it all and I'm genuinely thankful. Gaming has helped me find myself and evolve into the person I've become today, it was a daily thing for me to go to.

Gaming helped me find the true friends that I spend my days with today, it mended distant friendships I had with friends and helped form new friendships that I know will last for a lifetime. Without gaming I honestly don't know if I would be this close to my friends today.

(a bit personal) I've had minor gaming addiction for a while where I used to play for hours at a time without breaks but it's just part of the journey, I know I've come out a better person after this haha.

Really hoping to win as I've never had a proper gaming laptop too lol, I play on a Lenovo older laptop that can just run the games I play. Hoping to win!! Appreciate this a lot!

Gaming helped me a lot. It helps me to conquer my fear of communicating with other individual as well as interactions with another person. Gaming helps me to boost my confidence, my trust to myself and to be a persevere person. It has a really great impact in my life, because when I'm playing games, I feel like I'm being accepted by the people, friends and families. It really boosted up my confidence. And it helps me to evolve as a person a man, to stand up with something. It helps me to gain courage to share with other people how I cope my shyness through gaming. And I hope every people same like me who's afraid of other people got strength like me though gaming.
And also i gain some extra money while gaming to help my family on daily needs.
