    Peace be upon you.

This article is aimed at programmers and app designers. Most of us know how to evaluate designs, but don't know how to design, just as everyone knows how to evaluate food, but not everyone can cook.

Here's the easiest way to create designs using artificial intelligence:

All you have to do is ask ChatGPT or any other AI scripting program to help you develop a comprehensive design vision, then use that vision in text-to-image programs to generate screens and app elements. Let's break down this process step by step.

Step 1: From Idea to Complete Design Vision (Using ChatGPT)
This is the most important step. The quality of the app design you receive depends 90% on the quality of the description you provide. Don't tell AI, "I want to design an app for a gaming community," as the result will be generic and disappointing.

Instead, be the architect of your vision. Describe each part of the app in detail.

Bad example: "I want to design an app for a community."

Excellent example: "I'd like to see a UI/UX design for the Legion community app.

Overall identity: A modern, futuristic, gamer-oriented design, featuring Dark Mode. The primary colors are black and dark gray, with Legion's signature red used as an accent color for important buttons and links.

Home screen: It should display a vertical feed of posts. At the top, there's a prominent, animated section displaying current events, such as the Esports World Cup.

Element design: Buttons should have sharp edges and a subtle glow effect on mouseover. "Cards" displaying posts should have a semi-transparent background. Fonts should be modern and easy to read (sans-serif).

Profile page: It should display the user's avatar, their community level as a progress bar, and a section displaying their earned badges."

This way, ChatGPT will turn your idea into a detailed "design document" that you can use in the next step.

Step 2: From Description to Visual Design (Using AI Image Tools)
Here, you won't ask the tool to design the entire app at once; rather, it will design it screen by screen, element by element.

Create Home Screens: Use the description you've prepared for each screen. For example:

Request: "Design a home screen UI for a future gaming community app. Dark mode with red accents, and a post feed and events section at the top."

The AI will generate a complete visual design for the screen for you to evaluate.

Create Custom Elements: You can request the design of specific elements separately:

Request: "Design a set of badges for gamer achievements within an app. A futuristic design in red, black, and gray."

Request: "Design a 'post card' look for a gaming social app UI."

Assemble and Iterate: After generating images of the home screens and various elements, you, the developer, can now use them as a precise reference and inspiration for building the actual interfaces in your development environment. If you don't like a particular screen, you can simply edit its description and request a new design.

    Conclusion
Designing complex user interfaces is no longer the preserve of professional designers. Thanks to AI tools, you, as a programmer, can build a visual prototype of your entire application before writing a single line of code. Now you're no longer just a design connoisseur; you're empowered to "engineer and cook" the entire user experience yourself. Try this approach on your next project, and you'll be amazed at the speed and creativity you can achieve.

AI has become super useful in programming not only does it write code but it also helps with design and saves a lot of time and effort.
