@Yanno Thank you for this, many of those were already on my list, like Dandadan or Hikaru or Gachiakuta but I always wait for a season to end before I start watching because I like to watch a few episodes at once rather than slowly once a week.

What is your take on Takopii no Genzai? I am not sure what to do with that one, I read that it is supposedly going to be good in terms of quality, but the plot is very heavy and is not conceived to make a viewer feel good, it touches very heavy themes. So now I can't decide if I should watch it or not...

And there is one more not in this list that I want to watch, Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku:

I like the occasional love story 😅

@DoctorEldritch Same. Waiting for a season to end is my go to most of the time, nothing beats watching episodes back to back til the next day (no sleep) especially when the story builds a momentum, you always want to click next episode. Dandadan, Hikaru, and Gachiakuta would be awesome for that.

As for Takopii no Genzai, yes, that's a tough one. This one is new to me but as I check, it's known for being incredibly well crafted but also incredibly dark and emotionally draining. If you are not in the mood for something that is going to stick with you and possibly bring you down a bit, then it’s probably best to hold off. But if you're open to a really powerful, thought provoking story, even if it is heavy, then it might be worth the emotional investment.

And for Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku. It’s a beautiful choice. The manga is wonderful and heartwarming, and if the anime adaptation lives up to it, you are in for a treat. Definitely one to look forward to.

@Yanno Ah, well, my approach is not as drastic as that, I am not as young as I used to be for this 😅. So I don't binge-watch them overnight, but I do think that 20 minutes is quite short, and I prefer to watch 3-4 episodes in one go. And often, plot arcs are about the same length, too.

Yeah, that's what I read about Takopii no Genzai. Not sure how heavy it may be. I tried watching Rainbow: Nisha Rokubo no Shichinin before, but I got through about a third before I thought it would be better to stop. But the setting is different and more adult and historic there, in Takopii no Genzai, they are dealing with themes that are modern and child-focused, so it may hit harder.

It's going to be either this one, or maybe Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru, they are airing a second season now, I could watch the first if I want some romance before Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku finishes airing.
