@GoLLuM13 I would not be surprised if someone started a new petition, "Stop Killing Windows 10" 😉

@DoctorEldritch Yes I have 3 drives in my pc and two external drives. The issue is all of them have backups and important files on them. I need to sort things out first.

I need to consult the Joker about a few things and I've heard Harlequins art expo will be held at Arkham. Ending up there may be a good idea after all.

@DracoTarot I read a satirical take on Parkinson's Law that data has a tendency to occupy all space allocated for it, so the more drives you get, the more you have to sort through, but you do not actually get more free space. From a personal experience, there may be some truth to that. 😅

That may be nice, but I'd still prefer a visit to the original Arkham, the one with the Miskatonic University 😉

@DoctorEldritch That's the whole issue. Sorting out the data doesn't bother me, what bothers me is making space for more important stuff by getting rid of important stuff. It's important to keep all the important stuff while trying not to delete the most important stuff which is of most importance. It's important to take caution not to think old important stuff may not be important in the future. 🤣😂

In the end it may be more important to buy extra drivers to with udmost importance..... If you catch my drift. It's so confusing my brain is hurting. 😆😂

That's would be awesome. I know I'll never have the opportunity to go there.

@DracoTarot I'd think it is a common enough predicament these days, everyone has so much important data. The thing to look out for is not to become a data hoarder 😅

Why not? It is easy enough to go there, all you need to do is get yourself one of Lovecraft's books where it is described.

@DoctorEldritch If need be, I will buy hundreds of drives to backup my data especially if I paid for it. 😂 I think I may already be a hoarder.

True but it's not the same reading about it and looking at illustrations. I want to be in the moment and absorb all the splendour. 🙂

@DracoTarot You're a horder if your basement looks like this:

    😉

Well, in reality, Arkham does not exist; it was based on several New England towns, Salem most famously. So in that sense, no one can visit it outside our collective imaginations.

@DoctorEldritch The worst part is I do not have a basement or attic. Space will be a huge problem. I would have to buy server cabinets and install then all over the house. My parents won't be impressed with me at all. 😂

Another place I would like to visit is Salem. The town looks so spooky and the people seem to be very secretive about their lives.

Some documentaries I've watched about Salem had insane content. From serial killers, witch trials, secret organisations and off course the home of the Satanic Church.

@DracoTarot Maybe then approach it as an interior design challenge: how to incorporate hard drives into everyday decor in a functional but stylish way? 😅

Well, Salem has a reputation to uphold; you can't be the town associated with witch trials for over 300 years and not be spooky and secretive. That said, thematic tourism is a big thing there, so I imagine documentaries and reputation like that may be encouraged.

@DoctorEldritch Not a bad idea. I wonder how many drives will fit behind a portrait. I mean some frames are huge and I recon if the drives are thin enough they'll fit. I'm not sure about thr heat though?

I've seen Salem tour bookings are available this year again but they are expensive. Around three thousand dollars per person. It think it's for a week's getaway.

Tourism seems to be big there.
