@DoctorEldritch I prefer to go solo but sometimes it's really fun with friends. It also depends on which friends. Those who rage or not. 😄

True. Those skill trees are a bit of a setback.

@DracoTarot Borderlands is a bit odd in that regard, it allows for solo but was designed for coop, it's sort of like wearing a suit size too big when you play it, I thought sometimes 😅

I would not mind skills so much if they did not restrict you to specific builds. For example,. I like snipers, but I liked Lilith's power better, so I played as her, but I would prefer more flexibility. Sometimes you can get stuck with a character whose personality you do not like just because they have skills you want.

@DoctorEldritch Good comparison 😄. There are advantages of wearing a bigger suit. You would have more space for gear and gadgets. 😁

@DracoTarot That may be true, but at one point, pulled down by the weight of all those gear and gadgets, the bigger suit would drop down, leaving you in your underwear. 😅

@DoctorEldritch 😂🤣. I would be a spectacle indeed. Ending up in your underwear doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing.

With all the weight loss of the gear, gadgets and suit, you'll have more stamina and agility. It would be easier to fight off the enemies or in certain cases you can run away from immediate danger with haste. 😂

@DracoTarot I guess that may depend on your fashion sense 😉

Oh my. I guess that is technically true, but I would prefer not to live in the environment that requires such drastic actions😅

@DoctorEldritch Well, did you notice who's the first victim in a zombie apocalypse? The person who has a lot of bodyweight or the one's who's carrying too much on their person. Ending up in only underwear may have its advantages in such a situation.🤣

@DracoTarot I'd say that would depend on the type of zombie apocalypse. In technical terms, I'd say the environment is a more determining factor compared to individual physical attributes: if you live in a densely populated humid area, you'd be overwhelmed by sheer numbers with little difference whether you're heavy or not. But if you're in a rural province with not that many people, your chances are higher.

That being said, it is preferable to be fit for the zombie apocalypse, of course. 😅

@DoctorEldritch I always wondered if oil would work in a zombie apocalypse. I mean if you have a slippery oil or grease you could put on your skin the zombies would struggle grabbing on to you and won't be able to bite. 😂

Being fit is the key. Unfit people may be good at hiding or can double as a shield if you need one. 😂

@DracoTarot I'd say to a point. Oil can save you from certain types of grabs, but not all of them, and it would come with additional challenges, like you can't put in on skin, so you need some sort of oil-proof suit to put it on, and it would slide down and dry out, so you'd need some sort of system to keep the suit oled at all times, all in al, it is a rather demanding solution. It would probably be more efficient to drop the oil on the floor to make zombies slip.

This is one way of looking at it, but also, I'd want to point out that it may depend on the time since the apocalypse started. The first week would be survival of the fittest indeed, but after a month or so, with shortages of food and need for constant vigilance and physical activity, I'd say the majority of survivors will get rather fit and chances would become more equal on that front. So if you're not fit, try to push through those first days; it may become easier from there.
