    Hello Legion Gamers!

Epic Games Store offers games for free every week. This week, the free games are...

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is a Dungeons & Dragons strategy management game uniting characters from throughout the D&D multiverse into a grand adventure.

Personally, I do not really "get" the idle genre, if someone does, could you explain it to me? I mean, what is the point in a game that you don't need to actively play? Though D&D fans may be tempted by this one 😉

But this is not all! Another free game this time is...

    River City Girls

There's trouble again in River City, and this time only the girls can save the day! Using a variety of attacks, weapons, and items, these hot-blooded heroines are ready to teach the city’s lowlifes a lesson - solo or 2-player co-op! An old-school rumble for a new generation!

Uncanny, @DracoTarot we were just talking about anime, and this comes along. And a fighter, too, though a scrolling one. I don't know, I think I'll grab it, but if and when I may play it. It is Very Positive on Steam, so that's something, and may bring back childhood Golden Axe memories gameplay-wise, but there are just so many other games to play... Still, grabbing it costs nothing, so might as well, for a rainy day 😅

But this is not all again! Another free game (sort of) this time is...

    Arcadegeddon

Jump into Arcadegeddon today and get 5,000 ARCoins Rise up and play with up to three friends in this ever-evolving cooperative multiplayer, roguelite shooter. Explore multiple biomes, mini games, find hidden chests, and defeat numerous enemies and bosses.

To be precise, this is not a free game but rather a free 5,000 ARCoins for it. But the game itself is also free. If enough people try it and like it, this could be a good candidate for one of our GameTogethers.

    See anything you like?

Never really been my cup of tea either. Maybe I'll give this a go to see what the deal is 😁

@miskkie I tried a few back when I was a student when these games started to appear. I did not get it then and I do not get it now. In this genre, my taste remained consistent.

Though that being said, this genre puzzles me more than others. I do not play fighters or races either, just not my thing, but I can understand the appeal in it for those who do play those genres. May not be for me, but I understand where the fun comes from. But as for idle genre, I don't know... If you give it a try, please share your impressions!
