Steam started the first sale of the year, the Real-Time Strategy Fest!

A few good choices here: Against the Storm, Empire of the Ants and Manor Lords from the more recent ones, or Dungeon 4 for those more into fantasy satire. Some nice choices for Total War fans, too. And if you want to play Frostpunk before part 2, that one is sold for peanuts right now (part 2 also has a discount, but not by as much 😅)

@ZaidH there is Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 in case you want to get it, a few good RTTs there too, Shadow Gambit, for example. Personally, I am looking at They Are Billions, it's been on my list for a while.

Played many of the games they plug most heavily, but could be worth digging a bit deeper to see if there's any treasures to be found.

@miskkie That's the thing about sales: they often have older games that you already played. If you're old enough 😅

By that, I mean that there are probably many gamers out there who have not played the classics yet just because they have not been gamers that long yet, for them these sales may be more useful. But for us more seasoned gamers, or at least for me, sales often look like this:

Jokes aside, maybe there is a game you wanted to try but kept putting off, sales are a good way to stock it up for cheaper and play it later, sometimes.
