Hello Legion Gamers!

Remember a month ago when the Indie Game Awards nominees were announced? Well, the 19th of December is now behind us, and the results are in! Check them out:

Balatro won the Game Of The Year prize, no surprise there, the game has been doing very well. Need to try it out one of these days... But there are other noteworthy winners: Little Kitty, Big City, Harold Halibut, Pacific Drive, that's the next game on my list, and it won the best soundtrack. I was not after it for the music, but it's plus.

And let's not forget that Neva, the creator of@CandelaSynth interviewed last month, won an Emotional Impact nomination, so take note if and when you're in the mood for some emotionally engaging experience 😉 Or if you would like to try the games from other important nominations like Acessebility or Women-Led Development, arguably these awards are more illuminating and important than The Game Awards counterpart.

For me, I tried Little Kitty, Big City already and liked it fine, Pacific drive is next on my list, and somewhere down there Harold Halibut is waiting too, but now I think I'll add Balatro somewhere close to the top, just to see what all the fuss is about. What about you? Did you see anything in the awards that inspired you to play now?
