@DoctorEldritch It depends on the container we use to store the 2-minute noodles. The ones we use do not make them soggy. We mix the noodles with scrambled eggs and bacon pieces with a little sprinkle of cheese and it's good to go.

I will go have a look and see if it's still on offer. If not maybe something else will be.

@DracoTarot I guess it could work, but still, wouldn't it be tastier to still use fresh noodles for that? I guess it may be a matter of your goal: if you want to "utilise" leftover noodles then it's fine, but if you're after taste, then fresh ones would probably give you more of it?

I don't think there will be all that many discounts anymore, the time for them was during winter festivities. Even EGS stopped their one-a-day offer marathon and returned to a one-a-week format.

@DoctorEldritch It would be tastier I guess but we are so used to not wasting food because of previous setbacks we do not care about the taste. We also add sauces to the mix which makes it less dull.

There are no exceptions during hard times and we learned to adapt. 😊

If there are no offers anymore then I have a whole library to fall back on. I don't know where to start. My friends have a few recommendations.

@DracoTarot In situations like this, we feed leftover food to our dog. Maybe you have some animal that can help you with less tasty leftovers as well?

There will always be offers, I'd like to believe, but less frequently so outside of festive seasons. I finished Forbidden West recently and started RDR (the first one) and Mafia Definitive Edition after @ZaidH advised it.

@DoctorEldritch I have a little fur baby and we share leftovers with her depending on what it is. She does not eat everything and is a bit picky. 😊

I want to try out Shadow Hearts Covenant. It's an old game that was released in 2002 and after that Demon Souls.

@DracoTarot I hear pigs can be very good in taking care of leftovers. Unfortunately, we have no pig facilities at home, I think it would be nice to have one 🐽 But little fur babies work too. My dog is a pitch-black German shepherd.

The way things are moving, give it a couple of years and they will whip up a Shadow Hearts Covenant remake for you 😉

@DoctorEldritch Pigs are good garbage disposals and there will be nothing for them to handle. Unfortunately, we also do not have facilities here to keep them as pets and I'm certain our neighbours will freak out when we could have kept them in a residential area. 😂

My dog is a small crossbreed. I think a fox terrier crossed with a pug.

It's my first time playing Shadow Hearts Covenant. A remake would have been better. 😊

@DracoTarot Back where I live it used to be allowed to keep animal stock, and many people used to have chicken coops. You could hear rooster calls in the mornings. But the government changed that a few years back and banned it, so now you can't.

That does sound small... The dog probably needs to eat its weight in leftovers to be of help in getting rid of them?

You can always opt to play something else until there is a possible remake. If it's not around in a couple of years time, then you can give up waiting and play it as is.

@DoctorEldritch Same here. We are not allowed to keep any farm animals in our area. The government also changed how many pets we can keep. I think we are only allowed 3 dogs on the premises and two cats. If more cats are kept as pets they must have a special enclosure.

She is around 10kg and fat. 😂 She does not eat anything we give her and has been spoiled since she was small.

We don't have many leftovers to get rid of these days and if we do not finish it all we will add the rest to make compost, especially old vegetables and fruits.

I started playing Mad Crown and made a post about the game today within the English community. I see it hasn't been posted yet and is still under review. Hopefully, it will pop up soon. I also tagged you in the post. 😊

I couldn't read the whole message when I posted the thread because it disappeared so fast and all I could see in the message was my thread won't be visible.

@DracoTarot What about less widespread pets like turtles, lizards, parrots or fish?

How fat are we talking? I want to say that pets are properly fat if they roll rather than walk.

Ah yes, composting is something we do too, a good way to recycle as well. Be careful, though, it can lead to rodent infestations, we had one before, those are not fun.

Ah yes, I reviewed it and it should be live now!
