Hello Legion Gamers!

A bit of a good news update for CDPR fans! Sebastian Kalemba, the game designer behind The Witcher: Polaris announced that Project Polaris has entered the full-scale production phase!

The new game will start a new saga in the Witcher universe (and let's hope it does that better than Andromeda did for Mass Effect 😅) with Geralt of Rivia returning as a secondary character this time around. Who knows, he may be busy running a vineyard at Corvo Bianco.

Whatever the case, this game is of yet a success story CDPR hired additional developers to work on the project, so currently around 400 are working on it, and that's not counting the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel (Project Orion) and other projects:

Speaking of Cyberpunk 2077, while news about the sequel is scarce yet, optimistic news is coming on other fronts. Michał Nowakowski mentioned that the live-action Cyberpunk project is “still in the conceptual stage". May not be the best news as it means that, if it happens, then likely not that soon, but on the other hand, it is better than nothing. And Netflix teased the second season of Edgeruners too.

And now for something extra: there were a couple of sad stories of studio struggles recently, so it is nice when something good happens. One such example is Section 9 Interactive, a studio with veterans from Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares 2 and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita, that recently partnered with Epic Games Publishing to release their debut game, here is a glimpse from 3 years ago:

So it is good that they are making it, even if some others do not.

So that's a few pieces of good news for the end of the week 😉
