@DoctorEldritch Oh god, my condolences 😭 In a way though, that reveal might've given you a unique perspective on Elliot's motivations.

I feel similarly about crime stories. If Agatha Christie isn't behind the book or isn't an inspiration for the media, I tend to be more reluctant to engage with them.

LMAO, I’d also love a standardized haircut system 😂 Walking out of a barbershop with a weird cut because of miscommunication is one of the worst feelings on the planet 😆

@ZaidH I did not actually watch it. After that spoiler, the intrigue was gone.

I am happy they rarely "adapt" Agatha in other formats. I did not like Sherlock, for example, it was bizarre and cringy and later not well thought-out to me. Agatha seems to be more lucky so far, Poirot series being a very close adaptation of the stories.

That's just one of his complaints in that series. But he is most known for an old British sitcom Peep Show and comic sketches in That Mitchell and Webb Look sitcom with Robert Webb (Olivia Coleman was also there). They had sketches like this:

@DoctorEldritch LMAO I can see variations of this meme used everywhere after the show comes out 😂😂😂

So the series did come out, have you seen it? I have not after I read that it may have little in common with the games. As a standalone series, it may be good but may be lacking in connection with games.

But here is a bit of good news: Yakuza is turning 20 years. Technically, it did on the 8th of December, but it depends on location a bit. Still, they shared something interesting to commemorate, so best keep an eye on what's happening.

Plus that Hawaii one is coming out in February. And if you preorder now, you can get Ichiban (and Nancy-chan the Lobster) in your crew:

@ZaidH I just read that Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will get a deep dive tomorrow evening:

Could be something to watch then or later. Then again, not that long left to wait until the game releases, too.

@DoctorEldritch Thanks for the heads-up 🫡 I’ll probably check it out after finishing my LAD playthrough. Spoilers scare me too much 😭 Oh, and here’s something that might just make you go, “THAT’S RAD!” 😁

@ZaidH Impressive, for it to still be that high up there even after so long. Goes to show that maybe exposure of a song in a game can bring it far indeed.

@ZaidH Now they shared a fighting styles trailer:

All very exciting, but I am worried about how I will get to it. I finished Mafia now (thank you for the recommendation, by the way), now moved to Mafia 2 (though I will probably skip the third one). I have not played Man Who Erased His Name or both Judgement games yet (I am waiting for them to stop using Denuvo before I play them) or Infinite Wealth, so there is a lot to get through before a trip to Hawaii...

My god, that combat animation! So well choreographed!! Makes me even more hopeful for Project Century 😤

No problemo chief 🫡 I really hope you enjoyed it! What’s next on your to-play list, if I may ask? Like the Mafia remake, I think the Man who Erased His Name is a pretty short experience as well, so might as well snatch it while its on sale. As for me, I’ll definitely be joining you in the Infinite Wealth dilemma 😂 Ain’t no way I can sit through another HUGE RPG 😭

@ZaidH Shapes up to be quite an experience indeed. And Mashima is long overdue for a solo. Even if it took him all the way to Hawaii...

Mafia was good, I liked it. Mafia 2 is next, but I also have RDR Remake and Griftlands installed now, so overall those three.

I think they intended us to play Man Who Erased His Name before Infinite Wealth. It's on Gamepass, so I could play it whenever as long as it's there, I think, maybe I'll do that after I am done with what I am playing now.

Fingers crossed for a Makoto and Majima reunion 😤

God, Griftlands looks incredible, but it feels way too complex for my brain to handle 😶

The Man Who Erased His Name is on PS+ too. I’m so tempted to subscribe, but I still need to finish LAD... Man, we’re so lucky to have so many amazing games to play!
