@DoctorEldritch I don't see any other reason why they would do this honestly 🤔 My judgment might be clouded by my "saltiness" 😜

@GoLLuM13 What I would want to know is the reason why it is only the PC that is affected and not consoles? It seems odd to me that PC is singled out like that, I mean, it would maybe be easier to understand the reasoning behind something like this if it applied to all devices for some sort of grand reason, whatever that may be, but if it is just PCs that are affected, for me it is harder to understand why. Could it be a strategy to boost console sales in those countries, I wonder?

I asked myself the same thing....and I gave myself the same answer: increase sales on consoles. I realize that it's not possible to do otherwise if the game has a cross platform multiplayer component (but on helldivers they backtracked, and yet people continue to play...), but on a single player title it makes no sense as a restriction .

I also agree that the situation is becoming "difficult" as for the thousand streaming platforms... CD Project tried with its GoG galaxy to unify everything a bit, but it's more time you spend making the plugins work than time where you actually play something (at least that was my experience, a year or so ago).
