I've received my new gaming mouse!

I'll get straight to the point: after the hype of unpacking this STARWARS limited edition, I'm moderately satisfied, and I'll tell you why.

To put this in context, I have a classic G502 Hero. It has to be said: it's excellent. Good grip, responsive, good glide, reliable and robust, with very good software (Logitech Video Game Assistant) that also manages my keyboard and headset. 99% satisfaction.

But I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to go wireless.

So I was very happy to receive this new G502, wireless and theoretically improved since they're selling it for twice the price! 169 euro

After a few days of testing :

It may look like the previous model, but I find that it doesn't sit quite as well in the hand. It slips a little. Not much, but it's not as good. The plastic grips are a little different.

The aiming button, on the other hand, is closer to the thumb.

The wireless works perfectly and the mouse is as precise as ever. But this is no better.

And the design of this MILLENIUM FALCON version: Magnificent!!!

But where I'm a bit sad is that the new Logitech products have new software and are not compatible with the old one. This means that my G510 keyboard can no longer change my mouse profiles. And I'm forced to use two different programs.

To conclude: if you already have a wireless G502, version X won't add anything. The 502X is excellent, but no better.
