Hello Legion Gamers!

Epic Games Store offers games for free every week. This week, the free game is...

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a cyberpunk action-RPG where your choices have lasting consequences. You play as Adam Jensen, an augmented covert operative intent on taking down the Illuminati, a shadowy group conspiring for control over humanity’s future.

A bit conflicted about this game. It is an awesome game and still remains one of the best, if not the best (depending on your opinion on Cyberpunk 2077) examples of RPGs in a cyberpunk setting, and a great overall gaming experience, and all who like RPGs and cyberpunk and action/stealth gameplay (akin to Dishonored) should definitely check it out.

That being said, there are two buts. The first one is, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the second game of the duology, a sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and it would be better, I think, to play them in sequence. But EGS did not offer it for free.

And the second but is that, just last month, Embracer Group cancelled the new Deus Ex game that was in the early stages of development, which was a bit of sad news for me. So while this is an awesome game and well worth playing, the chances that we'll see continuation any time soon are slim...

But that is not all! Another free game this week is...

The Bridge

The Bridge is a logic puzzle game that forces the player to reevaluate their preconceptions of physics and perspective. It is Isaac Newton meets M.C. Escher. Manipulate gravity to redefine the ceiling as the floor while venturing through impossible architectures.

Unlike Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, this game I have not tried. But from what I can see, it is a decent little puzzle game, the style reminds me of Braid. So if you like puzzles tied to physics and perception, this may be a nice little game.

Two very distinct games this time around. Any of them caught your attention?
