@Saka You're right, that's a good routine to have regardless of pets.

Pets don't necessarily care about your opinion on the tableclimbing. :D

That's very true 😅. Although I have a bittersweet memory connected to it. When in her prime, my cat was fully able to jump on the kitchen counter, and she did so because then she could walk to the sink and signal that she was thirsty, and one of us would turn on the faucet for her to make it drip, and she'd catch drops with her paw and lick them. That was her preferred way to drink.

But during the last couple of years of her life, she got too old to be able to make that jump, and we put water for her in a bowl like it is usually done. But sometimes she would sit in front of the counter and look at it as if to try and jump again, but never actually did it, and it was somewhat sad to watch. It made me contemplate the fleetingness of youth...

I finished the game. It's a bit short, but really enjoyable with its cute art style. I liked how they portrayed the Groke in the game.

@Saka It is a nice style, yeah. And a nice Groke, thank you for sharing. I like the eyes in the first picture, but I am used to her having a sharper nose like in the drawings rather than a cartoon, but it is just the version I remember better.
