    Hello,

Hollowed tells the story of a woman who will do anything to bring her perished loved one back to the world of the living. Control Halia and her spirit Oco simultaneously on a single controller in this side-scrolling puzzle platformer. Find it here.

The mechanics allow for a new way of exploring the side-scrolling genre by asking the player to control two characters simultaneously. Halia's controls take up the left side of the controller while Oco's controls take up the right side of the joystick. It is only through the synchronous collaboration between these two characters that the players will succeed in helping Halia save her loved one.

@halonfire Oh, one more Polish game! @Aaricia may be interested, especially since this game was made by a very Polish team. Kudos for the home team!

Gameplay that requires you to control characters like that is interesting, maybe they even affect the brain differently (like piano playing does, for example). But I wonder, with a keyboard, would that mean that it is a wasd+arrows combo? That could work, but they may ask for a controller instead (like Hollow Knight did) if they really designed it for it rather than keyboard.

@DoctorEldritch The gameplay is the highlight of the game, i really like the idea of controlling two characters with one controller. You may have to use an Xbox or PS controller this time.

@halonfire I do have an Xbox controller, @GoLLuM13 helped me get one last year, so I could, yeah. I am just wondering if they optimised it for the keyboard or not.

For example, I could not get through The Binding of Isaac because of how keyboard controls were done there: movement was controlled by WASD and firing tears by arrows (or vice versa, I do not remember). I could not get far at all. Probably, if I spent more time on it, I'd get used to it, but I do not have that amount of time to spend on learning curve 😅
