@DoctorEldritch Oh no! I'm sorry to hear things didn't go according to plan. In the end, it may have been a good thing things didn't work out. The flat may not have been a suitable place but in the long run, you were saved from unforeseen events like neighbours who may have made your life unbearable. 😊

@DracoTarot Oh, very true. And I was saved even from foreseen events: one of the reasons for all this is that I found mould there. Now, I do not claim to be the tidiest of people. Sometimes I leave my house clothes on a chair overnight instead of putting them away in a drawer, and I may not scrub the shower as often as some other people, but having to live with mould is where I draw a line 😅

But all is well that ends well and now I get to stay with family and make another attempt later on.

Do you think Tarot is of any help when hunting flats?

@DoctorEldritch I don't remember which discussion was it, but I learned that the Remake of Final Fantasy 7 will be a trilogy (and Rebirth is the second) so there will be one more and that will be a good to go for people like us who likes to do all at once. BTW, from my understanding, FF7 Rebirth starts with a flashback to remember what happened

@GoLLuM13 To be honest, I do not remember when we talked about it either, but I do remember that conversation, and I think I asked you to let me know about it when you find this out, so thank you for remembering. I guess I'll have to wait some more before playing then.

Though now I am a bit at odds: I read an article where Tetsuya Nomura comments that the ending of the first part of the remake had differences compared to the original, and he said that the second part would have even more differences, saying he is a bit nervous about how fans of the original will like the game. This makes me a bit nervous too, because it may come to a point where there will be enough differences to make it seem that these are two different games. And if so, I'll have to think about how to play them...

So if you are going to play the Rebirth when it comes out in three weeks, maybe you can spot if it is very different from the original.

@DoctorEldritch TBH neither have I played the original one nor the Remake, I only tested the Remake and liked it better that the original (I'm not a big fan of turn based games, so I'm a little biased)

But wait, how could you like the remake better than the original if you never played the original? 🤔

@DoctorEldritch haven't played it, but saw people playing it, and so so many youtubers talking about it, and I'm not a fan of the turn-based system so I didn't give it a try (especially how it looks nowadays), this is why I gave a chance to the Remake, that keeps the turn-based system of a JRPG but mix it with the action of the ARPG

@GoLLuM13 Ah, I see. That makes sense. I am not a fan of a turn-based system either unless it's tactical or deck-building. The traditional JRPG turn-based system feels a bit, I dunno...slow to me? Though, that being said, I did manage to enjoy Persona 4, but mostly due to the plot rather than the gameplay.
