The famous versus fighting game, Tekken 8 which should be release on PS5, Xbox Series and PC on January 26th, 2024, which is in just over a month's time, invites us for a preview on a demo, as seen on the official Tekken tweet.

it is crazy how this game without major differences from the past is still alive, I used to play it a lot on PS2, might be interesting to try this again!

@Sarkhan without major differences ? Oh no, it's very different from what it was, new characters, new techniques and new gameplay

@GoLLuM13 welllll, it is still a 2D fight, of course they changed the characters, but that is a simple change, it is just "a skin", of course the graphic improved, but it looks like the same Tekken as usual and maybe that's the key of its success!

@Sarkhan well it's a 3D fight game not a 2D like Street Fighter, and those changes are not just skins the changes are in depth with new or modified game mechanics. There are real changes here, we're not talking about Fifa, Assassin's creed or Call of Duty where there are little to none each year. Just the 3 latest from Tekken 6 to 7 I saw differences and the feeling was different but trying the beta of this Tekken 8, while I knew some of the moves, there were new ones even for old characters. I won't talk much about graphics and how good it looked even for a beta test, but I was a little bit surprised how stable it was and seeing the spec sheet it's really not demanding which probably means a good optimization which is a great thing for PC gamers 😁

@GoLLuM13 you sure is 3D because it moves slightly on the 3rd axle, I mean, it is not like Naruto or DragonBall if you know what I mean! who is your fav character?

@Sarkhan It's not like Naruto obviously where the camera is behind the character which suits better an anime like combat for speed and spectacular attacks this is where the main difference is, while in Tekken, it's more about close combat and combos, but this "little" move on the depth axis in games like Tekken, Soul Calibur or Virtua Fighter that's what makes them 3D Versus fighting games, on the opposite, on 2D Versus Fighting Games you can only move on a 2D plan (X and Y axis if you prefer), like for example Street Fighter and Dragon Ball FighterZ
