    Hello Legion Gamers!

As the month of the geek draws towards its end, yesterday was Jukebox Day! Those automated music-playing devices were quite popular and widespread in the middle of the last century, but have since then mostly disappeared and replaced by more modern systems, and nowadays can sometimes be found serving an ambience more than function.

But as far as ambience goes, they are quite atmospheric. So much so that you can even choose to have one in your settlement in Fallout:

But the era in which they ruled is still alive in the hearts of melomaniacs, myself included. The peak of their popularity was the 1940s through the mid-1960s. Here are some of the most famous ones:

@DracoTarot that was a time just before Metal became more popular. But at their dawn, they played a lot of rock, too!

Do you have a favourite song from that time? Maybe something from Fallout? It is hard for me to pick just one, but if I had to, although Big Iron is great, I like the drive of Crawl Out Through The Fallout better. What about you?

@DoctorEldritch One of my faves from that era would be Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin.

In The Midnight Hour - Wilson Pickett

Sunshine Of Your Love - Cream

    Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix

A Day In The Life - Beatles

Papa's Got A Brand New Bag - James Brown

Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin

    My Generation - The Who

All Along The Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix

    Mr. Tambourine Man - Byrds

Proud Mary - Creedence Clearwater Revival

(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding

When A Man Loves A Woman - Percy Sledge

I Want To Hold Your Hand - Beatles

A Whiter Shade Of Pale - Procol Harum

House Of The Rising Sun - Animals

    Yesterday - Beatles

    Be My Baby - Ronettes

Where Did Our Love Go - Supremes

Somebody To Love - Jefferson Airplane

I Saw Her Standing There - Beatles

Green Onions - Booker T. & the MGs

I know some of them but the majority I do not. Or maybe I do know the tune but not the name, will need to look into them.
