@Sarkhan Horror is one of my favourite genres and I've seen most of the new releases this year. Some were good and others were bad.

Here are some movies I do recommend watching.

    It lives inside.

Desperate to fit in at school, Sam rejects her East Indian culture and family to be like everyone else. However, when a mythological demonic spirit latches onto her former best friend, she must come to terms with her heritage to defeat it.

    The Boogyman

High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister, Sawyer, are still reeling from the recent death of their mother. They're not getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who's dealing with his own intense pain. When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their house seeking help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims

    Cobweb

Young Peter is plagued by a mysterious, constant noise from inside his bedroom wall -- a tapping that his parents insist is in his imagination. As his fear intensifies, he starts to believe that his parents are hiding a terrible and dangerous secret.

    The Black Phone 😨
I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.

@Sarkhan I love horror movies ! If you want I've got a bunch of them I can upload to onedrive or something for you

Personally Freddy Krueger is a really good villain but he's movies kinda suck. They're not scary and they lost the plot with dream warriors

Friday the 13th and Halloween - same concept of big strong dude with mask killing people , really great franchise . One more slasher that's great is the "Scream" franchise. Truly amazing

Insidious, conjuring and Annabelle are AMAZING. These are your normal demonic/possession type of horrors

The saw movies are great, ive heard great things about the new one (saw X) which I'm hoping comes to digital soon

There's anothet franchise called "Jeepers Creepers", really great, the villain traumatized me when I was younger but I was like 10 and didn't know any better 😂. There's a new one that came out between 2020&2022, honestly it's 🚮.cgi is terrible, plot is bad, acting is worse.

My favorite franchise other than Friday the 13th is the "evil dead". This year's movie was amazing. The previous ones too. There's also a similar movie called "the cabin in the woods" with the thor Hemsworth that you might like. Fair warning, there's a lot of blood in the evil dead movies

alot of Steven Kings books that got made into movies are amazing, the movie "IT" is the best so far, there's also a series from the 1900s.
there's also "The shining" but I don't really see what people like about it

@AmrAli1 I'm on the young side of life (early 20s) so I watched a lot of these when I wasn't even 15 as yet.
drag me to hell was so scary when I was younger, and the granny was even worse. I rewatched it recently and it was so goofy I couldn't believe I was scared 😂

I love the fact that you wrote the plot as well, great effort!
