Do you guys ever feel like an imposter when it comes to gaming?
Sometimes it feels weird to start a hobby as an adult because everyone knows so much more on the subject and it’s a little overwhelming.

What age did you all start gaming?

started playing since I was little with my older sister, so I don't feel strange when I was young when I was playing, and even now I still love video games.

I started like 6 or 7 years old but it wasn't hardcore experience just playing with brother or relatives
I believe there's no imposter in any hobby, it just feel like that when you start only but later you won't feel like that any more
good luck and have fun and don't let this feeling stop you from having fun 😁😁
I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.

I started when I was 6 7 years old, playing with my brother and friends on the PS1 Unforgettable Memories

Just choose your game and enjoy 💖

I think this is the best advice I can give you
Don't care much about people's opinions when you do what you love
If you like to play but think about what people will say to you, play and don't care about people. Video games are beautiful and if people see that you are having a good time playing them, they might want to try the games you play.

I started gaming very young - about 7 years old or so. But thing is you always remember is that everyone starts somewhere, and there's no age limit on picking up a hobby like gaming. The gaming community is diverse, with players of all ages and skill levels.

People pick hobbies at all ages. Don't worry about what ifs and just enjoy the games now. You can always improve and learn new things, age shouldn't be stopping you from that.

While I have been playing games for many years, there's one other hobby example I can use. I practised kendo as late teen and young adult. Then I had to stop due to life circumstances and there was no good opportunity to come back until a year ago. I could have gained so much experience and progressed in my ranks (black belt degrees) in that time. But it is what it is, instead I am focusing on what I can do now. I can still improve a lot and progress, even if my body is starting to be past its best time. A positive mindset can do a lot.
