    Hello Legion Gamers!

As the food month continues, I remember promising @Saka a thread about anime. This is it!

There are many anime about food. In some, the food is a guest, like in cooking episodes of Gokushufudo or overall location theme like in Wagnaria!!, while other anime like Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma make food the cornerstone of the whole spectacle.

So the question has to be asked: do you have a favourite anime about food or anime dish?

Mine is Wakako Zake, a series of short (usually just about 2 minutes long) strips about typical Japanese "after work" food. It is based on a manga of the same name and tries to educate both domestic and foreign populations about different Japanese dishes. Like this:

The short format made it accessible and easy, so it became popular enough to even get a live-action adaptation now. But that one is long, full anime format of 22 min:

So if you're interested in Japanese cuisine or food anime but don't want or can't afford to invest time in a long series like Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma, this could be a good option, as the whole series of Wakako Zake can be watched in about 30 min.

So this is my pick. What's yours?

I've never watched anime dedicated to food, but there's some dishes I like one of them is the Ramen that dr.stone made and also from Naruto and the food Sanji makes for the crew or even any feast from one piece 😂😂
I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.

@NadaGalal All those series are too long for me, I prefer shorter stories. Though I did start Dr.Stone, but I stopped once I saw how long it was going to be. Can you share any food pictures from there?

but dr.stone is only 46 episodes which is relatively kinda short
but 1075 for one piece is indeed long 😂

the ramen from dr.stone is not the average pasta look like noodles but it's natural I'd like to try
