@DoctorEldritch personally I play more than I watch, but watching is the door to playing, whether it's a trailer and/or a streamer, if I watch someone playing and I like what I'm seeing I'll want to try it, and if I like it when I try it I'll probably end up buying it (if I haven't already jumped to this step for trying it)

as for CyberPunk and the 2.0 update, you can have the update without the DLC Phantom Liberty, but you can't have the DLC without the update

@GoLLuM13 I watch trailers, but very rarely how someone else is playing the game itself. I try to avoid spoilers, though with fighting games I guess it is not that much of an issue. But still, I'd always rather play myself when watch someone else do it.

Though, interestingly, when I was a kid and would go to the arcade, I'd enjoy watching other people play, but there you needed to spend some tokens to play and wait for your turn, so there was nothing better to do. But nowadays I would always rather spend time playing myself than watching someone else.

I wonder if Cyberpunk will have a GOTY or Enhanced Edition or something like that? I assumed that, because they only plan one DLC, after it comes out that would be the end of it, but with this patch now I am not so sure. They will probably be ironing out the game after that update for a bit, too. Hotfixes and all.

@DoctorEldritch the arcade spirit that's exactly it 😁 for adventure / story based games obviously I don't watch full walkthroughs to avoid being spoiled I watch test channels on Youtube with some game footage without any kind of spoil

@GoLLuM13 I have not been in an arcade in ages. My hometown when I was a kid did not have any, so I could only visit some when I went abroad with my parents as a kid. I think I lost that feeling now...

@GoLLuM13 Actually they do! I remember a conversation a while ago in the CI Discord where one of the Americans was going on a small trip and visited an arcade place. Some computer events might have temporary arcade stands too, there was one at Assembly.

@GoLLuM13 I think arcades have a better chance of survival if they become part of the heritage landscape. I know most of them have closed down (same as CD shops as we talked about before), but those that are part of famous landmarks are still operating as part of cultural heritage. For example, the Brighton Pier Arcade in the UK:

It may not be more "traditional" arcade, but still.
