@UnapologeticDino
Welcome, Mashael, to the great Legion community 😊❤️
My favorite female gaming character is ( Lara Croft ) in the Tomb Raider series.
Here are my suggestions to empower more women to consider Esports as a career choice:
✅ Highlight the success of female gamers. When people see successful female gamers, it can inspire them to believe that they can also succeed in the field. This can be done by featuring female gamers in media coverage, esports tournaments, and other events.
✅ Provide more opportunities for female gamers to compete. There are still fewer opportunities for female gamers to compete than male gamers. This can make it difficult for female gamers to break into the scene and make a name for themselves. To address this, organizers of esports tournaments and leagues should make an effort to include more female teams and players.
✅ Create a more inclusive and supportive environment for female gamers. The esports community can be male-dominated and hostile to women. This can make it difficult for female gamers to feel welcome and supported. To create a more inclusive environment, esports organizations should adopt policies and procedures that promote diversity and inclusion. They should also educate their community members about the importance of respecting all players, regardless of their gender.
✅ Encourage girls and young women to start gaming. The earlier girls and young women start gaming, the more likely they are to consider it as a career option. Parents and educators should encourage girls to get involved in gaming and to see it as a legitimate activity.
✅ Provide mentorship and support for female gamers. Having a mentor or role model can be incredibly helpful for female gamers who are trying to break into the field. Mentors can provide guidance, support, and advice.
Finally, I would like to ask Mashael some questions:
📌 What advice would you give to young girls who want to enter the Esports industry and become professional?
📌 What is your favorite game?
📌 What challenges did you face when you started in the gaming world and also as a professional player? How did you overcome those challenges?
Get your questions ready – as she’s ready for anything! Pay close attention to the chat and comments during Q/A session at the end of the livestream, as we will be giving away stylishly savage Lenovo Legion laptop Powered by Intel® Core™ Processors!
Are you as excited as we are for the livestream of #HerLegion Clan with Meshael?!
Share your questions here for Meshael, which she will be answering for you on the live stream on 31st of August at 7:00pm KSA time. Engage, enjoy and stand a chance of being one of the lucky winners of Lenovo Legion laptops Powered by Intel® Core™ Processors!
While we await your questions for her, here is a question we have for you:
Who is your favorite female gaming character and how can we empower more women to consider Esports as a career choice?
My favorite character is Aloy from the game Horizon,🤩 and Kena from the game kena🤗As for the questions I would like to ask Meshael
Do you prefer single-player or multiplayer gaming more? And why?
What is your preferred genre of games? Such as action, role-playing, or strategy games?
Do you prefer games with complex and deep storytelling or games with straightforward and simple gameplay
And we can encourage girls to play video games
Introduce them to suitable games: There may be games specifically designed for girls or games that feature strong and inspiring characters. Introduce these games to girls to encourage them to enjoy the gaming experience.
Engage in gaming together: Play games with girls and share in the fun and positive experiences. The shared gaming experience can be enjoyable and encourage their desire to continue playing.
Suggest story-driven games: Many girls enjoy exciting stories and complex characters. Offer them story-driven and adventure games that captivate them and motivate them to play.
Encourage challenge and growth: Girls may need support and encouragement when facing challenges and striving for progress in the game. Provide assistance and guidance when needed and encourage them to overcome difficulties and achieve progress.
Connect with the gaming community: There are online communities and platforms that bring together female gamers. These communities can be a great place for girls to interact with other players, exchange experiences, and share interests.
Provide appropriate tools and accessories: Ensure that suitable gaming tools and accessories are available. Girls may be encouraged to play if they have devices and accessories that cater to their needs and preferences.
Be a positive role model: Being a positive role model plays a crucial role in encouraging girls to play video games. Show interest in gaming, be supportive, and motivate them to enjoy the gaming experience😄
My favourite female gaming character is Ada Wong from Resident evil
And I think we can empower women into considering eSports as a career through establishing mentorship programs and support networks specifically for women in esports so we can provide guidance and encouragement for aspiring female gamers. Additionally, organizing all-female tournaments or leagues can help bring a sense of belonging and empowerment.
And my questions for Meshael are:
1. What is your favourite games genre?
2. What interested you into becoming a gamer?
3. Do you have an idol in the female gaming industry that you wish to become like in the future?
@UnapologeticDino

Reason: I want to add another character
My favorite female gaming character is Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.
I love how she is portrayed as a strong, intelligent, and multidimensional character whose abilities are not defined by gender stereotypes.
Aloy demonstrates excellence in combat, strategy, and emotional depth throughout her journey.
I think the best way to empower more women to pursue esports is to highlight inspiring role models and pro players.
Seeing other women succeed demonstrates what is possible and exciting about gaming as a potential career.
Gaming leagues and tournaments should also ensure women are provided equal opportunities to participate without discrimination.
Outreach programs exposing young girls to esports and building their skills from a young age would be impactful.
Companies in the industry should take tangible steps to recruit, support, and spotlight their female players and employees.
With more visible female representation and encouragement to participate from an early age, esports can move closer to gender equality.
Aloy represents the strength women can bring to gaming, and more real world role models like her would empower women to believe professional esports is a path they can succeed in.
Here are my questions for the Lenovo Legion livestream event : -
1 - If you could choose any superpower for your gaming character, what would it be and why ?
2 - What has been your most epic gaming achievement so far in your career ?
3 - If you could live in any fantasy sci-fi video game world which would you choose ?
4 - What advice do you have for young girls who want to pursue professional gaming but fear inequality or lack of opportunity ?
As a lifelong gaming enthusiast and avid computer user living in Egypt, winning a powerful new laptop like the Lenovo Legion would be a dream come true!
At 44 years old, I've been gaming since my early teen years and it remains one of my greatest passions.
I currently use my laptop daily for everything - from my work trading cryptocurrencies, to gaming, content creation, and social media.
Unfortunately, my current machine is outdated and can no longer keep up with the demanding requirements of modern games and creative software so Upgrading is difficult due to financial constraints.
Winning a brand new Lenovo Legion laptop would allow me to fully immerse myself in state-of-the-art PC gaming and pursue creative hobbies like video editing with power to spare.
The Lenovo Legion's top-tier specs like the latest Intel processor and dedicated graphics card would let me play even the most resource-intensive games at peak performance.
This would reignite my passion for gaming by enabling me to play expansive worlds in stunning detail that my old laptop struggled with. It would open new frontiers in my gaming journey.
Additionally, the enhanced multitasking abilities would supercharge my daily work trading cryptocurrencies.
And during my limited free time, I could edit game footage or produce other creative content many times faster than is currently possible.
This Lenovo Legion laptop would be a total game-changer! 😍 😍 😍 😍
One of my favorite female gaming characters is Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series.
Giving female players more support and resources as Lenovo been doing, which leads to more opportunities that being having a powerful machine like the Legion series, or #HerLegion support and shout out for female gamers.
In this way i think more professional will thrive and become a role model for future gamers, and more females can get to experience playing games as a career.
Question to Meshael
Is there any upcoming game you're looking forward to playing?
Favourite Female Characters, Freya from God of War, and Aloy from Horizon
Anyways,
That's a great question. Esports is a growing and exciting industry that offers many opportunities for women to pursue their passion and talent in gaming. However, there are also many challenges and barriers that women face in esports, such as sexism, harassment, lack of representation, and lack of support. Here are some possible ways to empower more women to consider esports as a career choice:
- **Educate** women and girls about the benefits and possibilities of esports, such as developing skills, earning income, building networks, and having fun. There are many resources and initiatives that aim to raise awareness and inspire women to join esports, such as "Women in Esports", "Women in Games", etc.
- **Engage** women and girls in esports through creating and promoting more opportunities for them to participate, compete, and showcase their skills. This could include organizing and supporting women-only or mixed-gender tournaments, leagues, teams, and events, as well as providing mentorship, coaching, and training programs for aspiring female players.
- **Empower** women and girls in esports by celebrating and amplifying their achievements, voices, and stories. This could include featuring and highlighting successful female players, streamers, influencers, coaches, managers, casters, analysts, and other professionals in the industry, as well as encouraging and facilitating peer support and community building among women in esports.
- **Expertise** women and girls in esports by providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and guidance to develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence in the field. This could include offering scholarships, grants, internships, workshops, courses, and career advice for women who want to pursue esports as a profession or hobby.
These are just some of the possible ways to empower more women to consider esports as a career choice. There is no one-size-fits-all solution for this issue, but rather a collective effort from various stakeholders in the industry, such as players, teams, organizations, sponsors, media, educators, researchers, and fans. Together, we can create a more diverse and inclusive esports culture that welcomes and respects everyone.
Also wanted to mention some questions for the upcoming QnA about Meshael.
1-What inspired you to start your YouTube channel and share your gaming passion with the world?
2- How do you balance your gaming career with your personal life and other commitments?
3- What are some of the challenges and opportunities that you face as a woman in esports?
4- What advice would you give to other women and girls who want to pursue esports as a hobby or profession?
