    Hello Legion Gamers!

Good news everyone! Some of you may have read the interview between our @CandelaSynth and Javier Ramello, one of the founders of Herobeat Studios that made a nice little game called ENDLING. And if you have not, read all about it here!

We liked the game and the interview so much that we decided to make a competition so that everyone here in Legion would have a chance to win the game ENDLING and check it out for themselves!

And as we want to have more interviews with indie developers and give everyone a chance to win the ENDLING game, to enter the competition you need to answer these 3 questions:

    1. Which indie game developer should we approach for the interview next?
    2. Why this indie developer, what makes them interesting?
    3. Which one of their games should we ask about?
All those who answer all 3 questions will enter a draw and the lucky winner will get the ENDLING game from us! Everyone who answers has a chance to win, but remember: you need to answer all 3 questions to enter the draw!

    Some important info:

    • The activity will start on July 3rd and end on July 24th at midnight!
    • The activity is exclusive to the Nordic community.
    • The winner author of the most interesting answer will be announced by the CM.
    • You can mention as many indie developers and games you want to play as you like, so if you have more than one indie developer that you'd want us to approach for the interview, don't hesitate to share!
    • Ideally, please think of an indie developer from your country. But if you have no favorite indie developer where you are, then feel free to mention any indie developer that you find interesting.
Looking forward to your submissions and good luck!

    THE COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED

Well, it looks like there are no favourite indie companies in the Nordic market yet. Let's hope there will be some in the future!

Ah, I read the deadline wrong. Oh well. 😅

I have a friend who has a team coaching indie developers, I think that is an interesting concept and could be interesting to learn more about it & how they help the developers succeed and what is crucial for those developers. But that's not about a specific developer.

@Saka For sure, I heard about there being services like that for indie developers but never had the chance to look into how exactly that works.

@DoctorEldritch Yeah, I am really interested in learning more how it works. From the outside she's generally not sharing much, her tweets are mostly tips to those developers. For example she has been teaching how to create engagement on Twitter.

Uh oh, with the recent news about that platform, I wonder how things are gonna go down... Some people I know decided to uninstall yesterday.

@Saka I guess that makes sense in a way that, as it is a consulting service, revealing too much will make people not coming to you for paid advice, maybe? But I think it should be possible to describe what it means to educate indie developers even in more general terms.

Wait, what happened? There is always something new going on with Twitter ever since it changed ownership, I get lost keeping track. What is this recent news? 🤨

@DoctorEldritch I will say, fitting for this Endling topic that we moved to bird extinction...

@Saka I honestly can't say what Elon was referring to with that. To be honest, I thought his saying about leaving the birds behind was to do with the Mars program as there are no birds on Mars so we will leave them behind when we get there. But it may be more straightforward than that and really be about bird extinction...
