Hello Legion Gamers!

Epic Games Store continues to offer games for free every week, and the free games this week are...

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is a Dungeons & Dragons strategy management game uniting characters from throughout the D&D multiverse into a grand adventure.

D&D-based games are always curious to me because I like games that "grow from" tabletop versions. They often have much interesting and detailed lore and complex game mechanics already, and it is interesting to see them gaining new life in video game format. Warhammer 40K is a good example, but D&D is the forefather of all those games and the one that started it all, so when it visits games, it is always a cause for celebration for me. The gameplay of this particular one is peculiar, though, but I'd still try it and see how it feels.

And that's not all, the second free game this week is...

theHunter: Call of the Wild™

Experience an atmospheric hunting game like no other in this realistic and visually breathtaking open world. Immerse yourself in the atmospheric single player campaign, or share the ultimate hunting experience with friends.

Games like that are hard for me to assess, honestly. I can't relate at all to hunting (or fishing for that matter). On one hand, it is good that game allows to "experience" that type of leisure rather than doing it IRL, but at the same time, I do not really like harming animals even in a video game. This is peculiar as I have no qualms with Sniper Simulator o other shooters, or when I need to hunt animals in, for example, Assassin's Creed. Maybe simulators are just a bit too "real" for me, but that's just my opinion...

Either way, see anything you like?
