In the Polish community I made a post about the current Weekly Deals on Steam and the gems that can be found in it. The Polish community threw in one recommendation in addition to my original two.

The first one is Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. It's priced at 16.49 EUR (67% off) in the promotion. The game belongs to the action RPG genre and has received very favorable reviews. There have also been some controversies on the internet because, shockingly, the main protagonist is a muscular woman and has hair on her face (literally unplayable /s). It tells the story of a young huntress who travels to uncover the secrets of her past and fights against machines threatening the world.

As a side note I'll add that since my original post a better offer for this game appeared on indiegala. You can buy the Steam key in there for 12.99 (74% off). There are six days left on the promo.

Another highly recommended game on sale is Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition. It's a turn-based RPG, a sequel to the popular game Divinity: Original Sin. It's not for people who prefer haste and easy tasks as the combat system is quite complex, and the game is very long. However, it captivates with its expansive world, filled with numerous intricate details that are easy to overlook. It's priced at 17.99 EUR (60% off) in the promotion.

Finally, there's Doom Eternal, a sequel to Doom from 2016, a first person shooter from the Doom franchise started in 1993. In this game a space marine known as Doom slayer fights to protect the planet from demons invading it. The sale price is 9.99 EUR (75% off).

@Saka Thank you for this! Though I must say, when it comes to sales of big titles like that, I often find myself a bit on the fence. On the one hand, I am happy for the gaming community in general and see the value in these discounts: some people have not tried those games yet, either for hardware reasons or they were just not old enough yet, gamers do grow up and older, after all.

But then, personally, after they are all polished and GOTY-ed, I usually play those games myself, so when I look through those sales with big titles, I am often like this:

So I am more after discounts on new releases. Still, any discount is good discount.

@DoctorEldritch I actually grabbed Horizon Zero Dawn this time, but not from Steam, as I found it cheaper elsewhere (which I did mention in the post). My computer would've been fine to handle the game before, but I just had different things on my mind.

So, I got a good game to play for a low price. Someone else might benefit from the sale too. Regarding the recent releases, I am going to hold off until I can play them with both better than PS3 graphics and PowerPoint presentation-like FPS. 😉

@Saka Any sale is a good thing, people can wait for a game for all sorts of reasons. I grab games at sales if I had to wait for all DLCs to come out for too long. Like this week Fallout New Vegas is EGS free game, I played it already, but I like that it is Ultimate Edition with all DLCs included. I wish more games were on sale like that, Horizon Zero Dawn, too, is a Complete Edition, And Divinity is Definitive, which is a plus in my book.
