@Saka It really frustrating. Loadshedding doesn't only affect pleasure time and also work time. I'm falling deeper into a hole due to the power cuts. My salary halved due to this and yes they do give load-shedding schedules and indicate when we have cuts but they do not adhere to them at all.

The utility company switches off the electricity when it pleases them nowadays. I can't plan anything anymore and they do not care what you may have planned or what losses are taken.

People were appointed to resolve the issues and nothing happened so far. They only said it would be a burden for 5 years or more.

I think most SA players ending up in your team or any other would abandon most of the matches due to this. Some are lucky to have solar but they are the more privileged.

    I just don't know anymore.

@DracoTarot It has been going on for quite a while now... Does it get better at all? My fear is that it may evolve into a "new norm", which would be unfortunate. I see the SA situation in the news sometimes, but they often differ from what you describe, so I do not believe them as much anymore.

@DoctorEldritch Since we had our discussion about the issue it became even worse and yes it has evolved into the "new norm". Apparently, we have to deal with it.

To be honest @DoctorEldritch the media is twisting around the truth and told to withhold factual info.

I can share an abundance of videos that are factual. Off course I can't share it here but I can for example share my area's schedule for today.

Tomorrow will be even worse. 12 hours. Today is 6 hours.

All I can say is what you see on the news is partly true.
