Based on the April 2023 Steam Monthly Hardware Survey, we can deduce the following typical build :

OS : Windows 10 64 bit
RAM : 16 GB
CPU : 6 Cores between 2.3 and 2.69 Ghz
GPU : nVidia GTX 1650 with 8 GB of VRAM
Display : 1920 x 1080
Free Disk Space : between 100 and 249 GB
Total Disk Space : more than 1 TB
VR Headset : Oculus Quest 2

And for those who would be in multiscreen : 3840 x 1080 or 2 screens of 1920 x 1080

However, we also notice a loss of speed for Windows 10 x64 with -12.74% and a gain of 10.98% for Windows 11 despite everything, there is still a fairly large gap, Windows 10 x64 is at 61.2% while Windows 11 is at 33.39% .
As for the GPUs it's very tight while the GTX 1650 is at 5.98% the GTX 1060 which is second is at 4.84% and the 3rd is the RTX 3060 with 4.51%, and it is only at the 13th place that we can see an AMD GPU (an iGPU to be exact).

Of course, this survey is done on a voluntary basis, which means that a person can refuse to take part.
