As April, the month of fun in the community, is ending there's one last topic I would like to introduce: Fun game ideas!

I got the inspiration from a friend of mine who tweeted:
" Could not sleep, have some game ideas:
1. A game where you play as a sentient slice of pizza.
2. You play a giant monster rampaging through a city, you get points for damaging historical landmarks and tourist attractions
3. FPS -First Plant Shooter. Yes, you are the plant "

In the past with that friend I brainstormed over a game draft that would be like marbles, but in form of animals. The different animals would have some mechanics specifics to their type. An example marble was created with the name Poglet. It was basically a marble-shaped piglet. Unfortunately, I don't remember what were the proposed abilities. It was a long time ago.

Do you have any ideas that would potentially make fun games?

@Saka A sentient slice of pizza is an intriguing concept, but what would be the main goal: to escape hungry humans and not be eaten, or to hatch a plan to stop humanity from eating pizzas by some sort of devious plot? Or maybe just to eradicate all pineapples in the world so as to never have them defile innocent pizzas ever again?

As for the second part, I think variations of that already exist. "Destroy All Humans" comes to mind, though there you do not play as a giant monster. But there is a good but old game called Giants: Citizen Kabuto where you get to play for 3 races in order, one of which is a giant monster who is destroying settlements:

And they made a pun out of it in one of Psychonauts levels as well.

About the third one, I can't quite picture what you mean? Something like Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare?

As for ideas of my own, I am not sure. None of my ideas seem particularly fun in a humorous kind of way. The best I could think of is maybe some sort of parody of a call centre work with a humorous take on everyday tasks. May not be the most original idea, but I think it will strike a chord with many people.
