@Saka Very true, I dislike pollution, but candy should be wrapped in common areas. I'd even go as far as to say not doing so is H&S violation.

Oh, but if you but yourself a nice expensive box to keep under lock and key and feast upon during work to the envy of all around you, then it is a different matter. Wrappers would spoil the fun there.

@DoctorEldritch The first one is public candy, where everyone's paws go. I think, if pandemic taught people anything, it is that having non-packaged items that people can touch with bare hands is very unsanitary.

The latter is private chocolate stash where it's just your paws. That's a bit different. 😁

As long as the wrappers get recycled, it's not a big deal. How's the garbage sorting in the UK? In Finland in offices you would see separate bins for incinerable waste, plastic, etc.

This reminded me of the way they use water fountains in Pawnee:

As for garbage sorting, I want to say it varies from area to area. My living complex only has 2 bins: recyclable and non-recyclable. But still, even that is better than one. But I do miss how well it was in Germany, there you can even get some money back for giving in used glass bottles.

@DoctorEldritch My building has glass, plastic, metal, cardboard, paper, bio waste and mixed. I wish there was a textile container too, but guess one can't have everything.

I ran into a dino comic about unrealistic managers:
