I once played Fortnite with my friends several years ago. My mother had said it was the last game I had to play, so I agreed with my friends that we should try hard. We went up a mountain to get high ground. My friends then chose to take an impulse grenade and shot me over the mountain. I could remember i started to cry.

So there I was, playing some Xbox with my buddies, right? We're all having a good time, chatting away, when suddenly, my girlfriend comes over. You know, for a little "quality time."

Now, in my infinite wisdom, I figured, "Hey, why not multitask?" So I pause the game, but I completely forget to mute my mic. Yeah, you can see where this is going. There I am, getting all romantic with my girl, whispering sweet nothings into her ear. And unbeknownst to me, my buddies are getting the play-by-play, like it's some sort of perverse radio drama!

Meanwhile, I'm completely oblivious, thinking I'm some kind of Don Juan, a real Casanova. Little did I know that my friends were hearing everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. They're cracking up, texting each other like, "Is this really happening?!" But they don't tell me, no. They just sit back and enjoy the show. Some friends, huh?

So, we finish our, uh, "quality time," and I get back on the headset, ready to pick up where we left off. That's when my buddies just lose it, laughing hysterically. And I'm like, "What's so funny, guys?" Then they fill me in on my little "audio mishap," and my face goes redder than a tomato. I wanted to crawl into a hole and never come out.

Lesson learned, folks: Always mute your mic when you're about to get busy, or you might just become the talk of the town – and not in the way you want! Trust me, there's nothing more humbling than having your romantic escapades broadcast to all your friends. It's like a modern-day Shakespearean tragedy, only with more Xbox and less dignity.

    Stay in school.

    I have 2 huge mistakes:

The first one is a thing that happened a few years ago. I was somewhere around 11 years old and a lot of my friends started playing A LOT of overwatch, so naturally they wanted me to get the game and I also wanted me to get game. There was just 1 problem, they played it on pc and I didn't have a gaming pc, but I did have a MacBook. So me being young and not a very bright child when it came to anything computer related, bought the game just to find out it wasn't compatible with macOS. Yeah .. it wasn't my brightest moment, my mum also got annoyed, because she had to contact blizzard support to get a refund.

The second one happened after I came home from school, and I decided to play some FIFA. After a 2-ish hours of playing, I lost a game and got mad. Without thinking too much I spontaneously launched my controller through my room and it hit the wall (brick wall), as it hit the wall it splintered into countless pieces and the plastic from the controller left a mark on the wall. Needless to say it wasn't a smart decision and it is by far the worst thing I have done whilst gaming.
