    Hei! Hej! Hi!

Like last year, I was once again a volunteer on Assembly Winter 2023 between 23rd to 26th in Helsinki, Finland. If someone didn't know, Assembly is the largest e-sports / gaming / computer event held in the country twice a year. You can check out this topic from last year, written by @MoriMoonpaw about Assembly Summer 2022.

I wasn't a volunteer for Lenovo Legion this time, tho. I was a volunteer for non-profit organisation called Female Gaming Finland ry, which promotes equal treatment of woman and other gender-minority players in the gaming world. I also had a really nice chat with School of Gaming, which does game education for kids and youths. They also do have Coders' Club and e-sports coaching for Overwatch 2 and Fortnite. KAMK.GG, student-operated e-sports organization which held VALORANT tournament for women-only last year had a room in which you could fully experience how surround sound system works while gaming.

I recorded a lot of material with much better equipment than last time. I was filming horizontally with 50MP phone camera, AI enabled, instead of doing it vertically like I did last time. I also did take a lot of pictures and there will be a post with a lot, a lot of text coming about everything I participated out there, so stay tuned!

Unfortunately I didn't write down an English subtitles this time, but I'd hope you still enjoy! If you in any case know Finnish language, take a look of the interview I had in the end with the board member of Female Gaming Finland! They do have English and Swedish language channels in Discord as well, as Finland is pretty international country after all.

    Enjoy!

Hey. o/ I'm Liue, gamer with epilepsy from Finland. I'm BBA, Business Information Technology student at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and been helping out Legion Gaming Community since the creation of this forum, March 2021. I was one of the first members whom joined and never looked back.

For me, accessibility is close to my heart. As world is connected, I wish to develop digital services in a way that more and more people would have a chance to use them on their daily basis, no matter of disabilities.

@Liue thank you for the post and the links! I looked through the English ones over the weekend, I hope Female Gaming Finland will get a proper localized one soon as well.

And the video turned out good as well, it was nice to see the cosplay displays. And the overlay text gave an idea about what was happening, so the lack of subtitles did not disturb me much. I only wish I could understand the very last part where you talk to the lady with colored hair.
