I posted it first in the Polish community, but I want to share it with others too, so translating my post. It's not everything from Saturday, because I had some issues with my internet connection last night and am yet to post the follow-up. So the second part consist of the remaining pictures from Saturday + Sunday (I have fewer pictures from Sunday anyway).

On Saturday morning I got on the train to Katowice to see the finals of Intel Extreme Masters tourney. It was absolutely jam-packed, and based on the demographic, I suspect that quite many people were heading in the same direction as me. I got to the Spodek (the place where the even was being held, its name means a saucer in Polish). Legion had a large booth there, that consisted of a stage and a row of computers to try out gaming on. When I arrived there was some game going on that involved finding differences between two pictures displayed on the screens at the stage, but the details eluded me in the noise.

Right next to the Legion booth there was the StarCraft II stage where the games were played. At that point of time there was a match between Elazer from Poland and Serral from Finland. Serral is one of the top players in the world, last year he was the champion of IEM.

The Legion computers were very popular. I have a slight regret that I never asked what games were available to try out, but on the other hand there were a lot of people waiting to game. I would have had to stand in a queue. 😁

There was a bunch of activities on the Lenovo stage. One could spot @hajtv busy collecting sign-ups for a Fortnite tournament. That tourney is for the Polish community and the grand prize is a Legion 5 laptop!

In the Expo area there was a smaller CS:GO arena where there was a tourney for all-female teams. It was interesting to watch a slightly different energy in the game.

Next to the stage there was a relaxation zone from the city of Katowice. It looked quite cosy, and must have been so indeed, because it was almost always quite full!

Further in the back of the expo area there was a large booth from Nintendo. The Nintendo Switch consoles were plugged in to large screens, offering immersive gameplay. The selection of the games was rather large, different generations of Pokemon, Mario, Zelda and some less typical games. I narrowly avoided collision with some people playing bowling on Switch.

Nearby there was a stand with free bottled water in different flavours. Once I got one that was supposed to be orange blossom, another time it was blackberry. It is important to stay hydrated, even though it might be challenging during such events. I got painfully reminded of that, because I was busy running around and didn't drink enough, resulting in feeling unwell later.

Then there was a booth from NTT System. They had some really interesting computer builds, even if they looked somewhat like eldritch horrors.

This setup is particularly interesting due to it sporting Intel Arc graphics:
