@DoctorEldritch I like their common room for the same reasons you've mentioned. The darker ambience suits me better and has that Gothic feel to it.

A cunning schemer? Whell it would be for fellow players to find out! 😊 (Rubbing my hands together)😶👿

@DracoTarot Oh come on, rubbing hands together is "Cunning Scheming 101: How to Telegraph Scheming Intentions". Do you want everyone to know you're scheming something, because if not, then rubbing hands like that, and with a "devil emoji", no less, is counterproductive.

    ...Unless...

That it was your plan to telegraph all along and you're actually doing a long-game con where you announce your scheming intentions as a part of an even grander scheme so everyone would focus on a small one and not notice the big play right in front of them, that's some nice wool pulling right there.

    ...Unless...

This is what you want us to think while in the meantime you're actually focusing on something else entirely and, if so, then what could that be?

    This is making me paranoid...

    ...Unless...

Was this your plan all along? 😅

@DracoTarot On a more serious note, I don't think Hogwarts Legacy has multiplayer, not in its current version, at least, so you'd have to be scheming with NPCs rather than other players for now.

@DoctorEldritch I've seen those Tarot decks on Etsy before and I want them so badly. I wish I had the money to buy them. Once again the customs charges are beyond ridiculous.

My piggy bank needs to become much fatter.

Those HALO cards seem to have eluded me. They do not want to be part of my collection.

@DracoTarot Well, there is folklore about enchanting cards. As you know, there is a method of fortune telling with a regular card deck.

And per legend, to make a deck more efficient in that, you need to give it to someone else, and that someone else would then give it to someone else as well, or lose it, or it gets stolen, the point being that card deck needs to change owners. And if that deck changes owners 7 times or more and then makes its way back to the original owner, then it would have greater power of divination.

Of course, it would probably be more realistic in older times when card decks were more widespread and people used to carry them around for an occasional play during long travels, I mean before cars were even invented. But it may work today as well.

Point is, when and if the HALO deck does make its way to you, it may be more magical than if it arrived faster, maybe?

@DoctorEldritch It's all about diversion. Rubbing my hands could bea gesture of my feeling of excited expectation, or that I'm simply cold......Or am I?

In the presence of others, I'll continue rubbing my hands together without uttering a single word with an emotionless stare. Sometimes this happens when I'm daydreaming. The question is how others would know if it's just an innocent gesture or something more ominous seen through my mind's eye.

There would be two choices. Either run to the hills or stay to know the outcome. It could be a wonderful experience or something very much atrocious. 😂

@DoctorEldritch Yea no multiplayer as yet. Would be nice if they would release an expansion set for multiplayer in the future. Wonder if it would be possible.

@DracoTarot It looks like it was at least partially made with multiplayer in mind. And Wizarding World would be very nice as a massively multiplayer game, though, that being said, when they made that Star Wars The Old Republic, it left a lot to be desired, so... pros and cons for everything, I guess.

@DoctorEldritch I do have a very old deck in my collection and it seems the deck may have passed through a few hands.

It's an old Thoth deck. It was passed down to me by a lady who I helped a few years back. She moved to an old age home and recently passed.

One thing is for certain the Thoth deck is really old and would like to know the history behind it. It's difficult to trace the origin especially if it's a common deck.

Nowadays I think most people who has some decks may throw them away instead of passing them on.

@DracoTarot I think in folklore the main point was that the deck needs to find its way back to the original owner after passing through many hands. But old objects with history always have something mystical about them, that's why people love antiques.

Do you have any statistics maybe if that old Thoth deck gives more accurate predictions? That could be an interesting experiment.

Every deck of Tarot cards are unique in its own way. There may be some decks that hold magical properties depending on who had them in their possession. For instance, If a deck was passed on through a generation of Warlocks there's a chance a deck could have gateway properties. To see beyond the person's energy and a prediction may be more accurate. I know for a fact ritual decks have a different feel to them but I do not fancy having them as part of my collection.

One thing I've noticed when I touch the Thoth deck and shuffle the cards, I feel a sense of calmness. With my other decks, I have mixed experiences depending on a person's energy.
