    Hello Legion Gamers!

The last month of winter is upon us, and Team Legion urgently needs your help!

We were very happy with all the questions you asked our team last month, and now we have a question of our own! We are conducting research to better understand our gamers in order to build Legion’s future. And our question is:

What do you love most about gaming?

    • The thrill of getting to the next level
    • Getting to game with people from all over the world and be part of a community
    • Pushing yourself, chasing and achieving greatness
    • The amazing accolades and skills you can grow as a gamer (gaming is more than just a part-time hobby)
    • The sense of belonging to something bigger, not feeling alone
    • Escaping your everyday life to be part of another world
    • Feeling empowered by the virtual world where anything is possible
This is a very quick poll that's open from today until midday tomorrow. We'd be very grateful if you could spare us a moment of your time to pick your answer.

And, of course, you are very welcome to also comment below in this thread with any further insights into what you love about gaming! Maybe what you love most about it is something we did not think about in our poll?

@DoctorEldritch Answered, but I must say it was hard to pick just one option.

Which other option would you also pick @Saka? This was a super quick thing for now to get a high-level idea of the split, but I'd love to explore this more in the future with the community and have further discussions too.

For me I'd pick the "escaping everyday life" and probably the "pushing yourself" (thinking of my obsession with achievements in WoW for example) 😄 Not feeling alone is a big one too, although I do enjoy playing by myself quite often as it makes me relax.

@MoriMoonpaw Pushing myself, the thrill of beating a challenge, the sense of belonging to something with a purpose and to a community. It has been the case for me back when I did mythic raiding in WoW, as well as when I completed some challenge modes in Guild Wars 2. Sometimes gaming is an escapism mechanism for me too. It had been more true in the past than now, but still sometimes it's nice to stop thinking about the dire reality.
