    @DoctorEldritch I guess there aren't any boxes 😊

All the time. To date, I haven't figured out why people behave the way they do and why I can't do the same. Why do some people weirdly enough, like me too much when others are completely mean to me? Why do some strangers on the street give me strong judging stares while others give me warm welcome? Why do I feel like I don't deserve certain things in life and why do people perceive that as a strange thing when I tell to them?

Why literally nothing happens when I'm scared the most and my worst nightmare comes true when I try to put my guard down. Why people are so happy and confident under their skin and why I'm the most insecure person ever? Why do people never think so deeply about themselves and why do I fail to be happy even after being so strict with myself?

I ask these questions every day to myself, but I still don't know the answer to any of them. Sometimes, it seems like all of this is created using some twisted algorithm and I don't know the “theory of everything" to put them all together under one solution. Also, I feel as if I'm inside some sort of simulation that I don't know the rule to play and all I'm surrounded by are NPCs created by that “algorithm". Those NPCs are having a stable, happy and fruitful life while I have to start from scratch every single morning and It perpetually goes on and on like a loop without a breaking point. I am pretty sure that I'm living in a simulation.

@DracoTarot All complex questions to be sure, perhaps deserve their own thread. But so long as we're talking about theories and algorithms, maybe exploring the "Game Theory" might shed some light for you on such matters?

Here is one (of many) videos on the subject using Among Us as an example:

I know we have not played Among Us together with you, but the examples are still illustrative.

@DoctorEldritch thanks for the vid! The Among Us game theory answered some of my questions and I guess that's how things are. 😊

I actually played Among Us for like a day and never had the interest to play again. It seems I've overlooked the fun part of the game and will have another go.

Getting back to hobbies and the original thread I found an interest in Chinese lanterns and considering making my own. I really like the dragon-themed ones. Instead of using paper, I want to use plastic spoons as an alternative material or plastic bags.

It's something I'm still pondering about!

@DracoTarot there's Among Us with the Legion CMs tomorrow. Maybe you can join that?

I did so in December (or was it late November? I don't recall), and it was quite fun. Just a word of warning though, @LilySensei will absolutely bluff with an innocent face and get people murdered!

@Saka Hopefully, with newfound Game Theory tricks, you'll manage to get the upper hand!

That being said, as far as I know, this week we're going to do something different and try the new Among Us mode that they recently introduced called Hide n Seek:

Here, instead of the convoluted mind game of crewmembers and impostors, you get to play a more dynamic hide and seek game.

@DoctorEldritch Oh, the new game mode sounds promising. I might have to pass this week, but maybe another time!

@DracoTarot You can look into Game Theory in more depth in more concept-centered videos or articles, but it is very versatile in application.

As for the lanterns, it is a nice idea, more so as we've just entered the Year of the Rabbit. Plastic spoons and bags are an interesting idea, maybe you can make a point of making a lantern from only discarded materials? Some artists do that as an artistic statement.

@Saka I have absolutely no idea how the game works and would have to practice first. If the game is easy enough I'll consider joining.

It sounds I will be a easy target and become one of the statistics early on in the game especially when @LilySensei is around! 🤣😂
