    Hello Legion Gamers!

The Kindness month in Legion continues! We already have a nice meme thread to go with it (thank you @Saka!), but one of the reasons November is such a nice month to share some kindness is, I think because it's so gloomy. Less sun, darker evenings, and depending on where you are you get an ample supply of rain.

So it is a perfect time to share some pick-me-ups. The memes are a good start, but there are other good ways to share some kindness and a good mood around, for example, with some catchy tunes!

So what would be the song that makes you feel better when you listen to it and fixes up your mood?

I'll start off with a timeless classic that makes everything a bit happier:

But that's just one example among so many others, and it does not have to be just one song (or just an English one), either!

    So, what's yours?

@DoctorEldritch When I need some cheering up Nelly the Elephant from the Toy Dolls is one of the songs that come to mind. It's a funny rendition of the original.

On a more serious note, I also would listen to Linkin Park's One More Light. This song doesn't make me feel sad. For me, it's the opposite and I am reminded if there are not many people out there who really care about my well-being I do have people in my life who would hold my hand through the toughest times. One More Light makes me feel more appreciated.

Just sad Chester left so early but I guess he had his reasons.

Another would be ODE TO FURY by Miracle Of Sound (GOD OF WAR)

@DracoTarot This is a nice selection! Though, for some reason, the first song made me remember those mocking sea shanties, like the Moby Duck. The second one is a tearjerker. And I have not played God of War yet, it is at the top of my list, but I am going through Yakuza games at the moment. Maybe I'll need to bump GoW after this.

@DoctorEldritch Yea Nelly is a bit out of the ordinary but fun nonetheless. One More Light is sad depending on how you interpret the words. The song gives me a little hope for the future.

God of War is a masterpiece. You'll enjoy it a lot.

@DracoTarot Hope for the future is a good thing to get from a song, it is nice that you have a song like that.

About GoW, so I've been told, but there are so many games and not enough hours in a day. I'll get to it eventually.

@DoctorEldritch GoW is one of those games you have to do a mission and then take a breather. It's a demanding game and I had hand cramps from the controller.

Sometimes I like to stretch a few games instead of finishing them in one day or a week. There are so many games I need to play and I am far behind my fellow gamer friends.

If I start gaming again the new games would be old news for others. 😁

@DracoTarot Ah, I had the same situation some years ago. When I was a student at uni, my laptop broke down, so I had to buy a cheap replacement, a small 13-inch one for studies, not for games. Could still play some games, but a 13-inch screen is, well...

And I had it for about 5 years, so most new games of that time passed me by (that's why I did not play any Assassin's Creed games until recently). And I am still catching up on some games I missed from that time, and while I am doing that, new games are released, and by the time I get to them, they too are old, it's like this cycle never ends. But I am positive I will catch up eventually.

One of the tricks that help me is now I started to sort games by my wish to play rather than chronologically. Before, I wanted to play older games first, but now I put them in order of how much I want to play them, no matter when exactly they came out. That helps me somewhat.

And here is the next song, I think I'll try to put up one every day to boost the mood each day. Today I remembered a little number from the 50s, with a bit of romance mixed in:

    Classic.

@DoctorEldritch Yea, lots of catching up to do with games overall.

Here's another playlist favourite to cheer me up when things are a bit rough!

@DracoTarot interesting choice, and the "club version" to boot. Clubs do not cheer me, I do not like crowds or loud music or dark rooms, but I am happy you have a song that works for you. I looked it up and liked it better with no "club version" filter, but that's me. Everyone is different and is cheered by different things, it is interesting to explore how diverse the effect of music can be.
