I had to dig deeper for this as discussed here in @JokerZida's topic:Electronic games between harm and benefit...
it's all about time management a balanced relation between games, studying, work and other activities.

@DoomGuy It's all about setting boundaries and not going overboard.

@Saka I don't see the point in doing speed runs. Is it to show developers they make games too easy or do certain gamers have a healthy or even unhealthy sense of competition against themselves?

@M2lobaz Agreed! If you can balance things that are important and of non-importance, life would be a breeze. It's just so hard to do sometimes.

@DracoTarot I don't understand the attitude either, but some players want to "do things as fast/efficient as possible to have more time to do other things". In the game, not outside of it. IDK, I'd have a huge feeling of wasted time if I did the same dungeon 20 times in a row to level slightly faster than through normal questing. Repetition and grinding are killing the fun for me - some is okay, doing it all over again and again and again without any switch-up makes me want to vomit.

@Saka Yea you're right! It's frustrating to do things over and over with no results and if time is a factor I do get speed runs and appreciate and respect the concept behind it. 😊

You just reminded me of one certain game, Cuphead! I got so frustrated with the game I never played it since. Never finished it and also got bored of the repetitiveness.

I guess this is why walkthroughs serve a purpose. 😂
