    Hello Legion Gamers!

The last week of Halloween is upon us before the big day next Monday, and I thought to wrap it up by talking about the best fictional murderers from horrors!

There are the ever-popular Freddie or Jason:

Those are the famous proper ones that I know. But maybe someone is into more insane characters, like the infamous motel operator Norman Bates:

Or the one who tops even him as far as being insane goes, the Gotham Clown Prince of Crime!

And if you'd like to see Joker sing, check out this thread here!

And that's but a few, there is something terrifyingly magnetic about the mind of a killer that makes people fans of even the most disturbing of them. What would be your pick?

I think that my choice would be the one with distinct speech and an unusual palate, like Dr. Lecter:

Anthony Hopkins really did a superb job of bringing that character to life, with all his disturbing quirks and complex layers. So I guess he'd be my pick for the best one.

    What about you?
    Any favourite famous killers?

@DoctorEldritch If I must choose fictionally my number one favourite would be Michael Myers.

Recently a new character also came on the scene. His name is Art the Clown.

All my favourites all packed into one game too. Terrordrome. I posted about the game a while back.

Almost everyone is there from Freddy, Jason, and Hellraiser just to name a few.

Hannibal Lector without a doubt would be my favourite serial killer.

@DracoTarot Terrordrome looks interesting, very... Freddy vs. Jason. Though I am very bad with fighters, never got much practice in those. But you can link your Terrordrome game post here, and see how many people would want to play.

And yeah, I had a hard time deciding between Hannibal and Joker. Joker is iconic, but Hannibal is more...I want to say believable? So in the end I settled on him.

@DoctorEldritch maybe it's time to put your new controller to the test with some fighting games. MK would be a good start. 😊

    Here's my post link. https://dev-v1-lenovo.giantsplatform...29-TerrorDrome

Joker is more of an iconic criminal mind and while he is a murderer I feel Hannibal has the Edge. His character portrays elegance. He has a purpose while the Joker is just crazy LOL!

@DracoTarot interesting thing about Joker is that it has multiple contributors. Sure, he was created initially by Finger, Kane, and Robinson, but has since evolved and many comics and stories have their own take on him (not to mention Lego and movie and game incarnations), so while he is very impressive, there is this bit about lack of consistency (true to most comic heroes, though).

Hannibal, on the other hand, was created by one person, Thomas Harris, so his character was one of uncompromised vision (side from film adaptations), and it could be easier to give character depth when there is just one person who created and developed him, not many people.

I have not actually bought a new controller yet, I am waiting for the next Black Friday (in November). So if anyone still has any last-minute advice, please share!

Horror movies are not my cup of tea, but I decided to think of this topic. Long time ago I read Death Note manga and watched the anime. The murdered there, Kira, got his hands on a notebook that allowed to kill people. Simply, person whose name appeared in the notebook would die soon after. It was also possible to write down the details and whereabouts of the death. The first deaths in the series were plain heart attacks, then they became quite disturbing, such as leaving ominous writings on the walls in blood. Kira set out a personal quest to "eliminate all the bad guys" from the world and became more and more ruthless and twisted as things didn't always go his way.

@Saka Light Yagami aka Kira is a good option, animes are a part of this as well! and it does not have to be just horror movies, Joker is a comic villain and Batman films are not horror ones, and Silence of the Lambs is not really a horror either.

And anime does have its own array of interesting characters like that, from psychotic like Yuno from The Future Diary to more methodical like the "chesspiece killer" from Shion no Ō. Not to mention darker animes like Erased or Monster, those are all about serial killer deconstruction.

Any other anime fans out @LockOut, maybe you have a favourite anime murderer?

hmm idk if I understand the question well but I will answer as what I understand 🥲 you have different murders in anime like
For example in 91days you can find kill the whole high members of the gang as revenge or you have in in Hellsing Alucard his job to kill every vampire

@LockOut I'd say it counts, though the actual question is who is the best fictional killer. @Saka mentioned Kira from Death Note, and he is a remarkable murderer with an unusual murder weapon. So we're looking into people like that.

Like Shogo Makishima from Psycho-Pass, his attitude towards killings was such that Sybil System could not recognise him as a criminal (though how efficient the Sybil System is is also debatable). Notable characters like that. Does not have to be just anime, though.

Oh if you mean (killer) then you have much for example
frieza from Dragon ball ( spoil alert)

Character destroyed many planets with who lives on it for example he destroyed Goku planet that's why we don't see much things about Goku family

And you have Johan from monster (I don't want say anything from monster want to know then go watch it😂❤️)
