    Hey everyone!

It's been awesome to see more gamers finding their way to the community through the Assembly event in Helsinki, Finland, a couple of weeks ago! 😊 Hope you've had a good time here so far.

I wanted to follow up with a thread about Assembly and similar live computer and gaming events to hear more on what you think of them, and about Legion's presence there. I'd like to pass on some feedback, thoughts and ideas over to the teams at Lenovo who organise the Legion booths. 👍

Those of you who were there, how did you like the Assembly event in August? Was it your first one or have you attended them (or other similar events) before?

What do you usually like the most about gaming events and expos?

And of course, what about the Legion booth itself 😎 Anything you especially liked or felt was a lot of fun? Do you have any ideas or suggestions for our booth for future events, anything you think could make it even better?

Let me know what you think! 😊

I have attented Assembly a few times in the past - the previous two years didn't happen due to covid and restrictions on large events.

Finland is a fairly large country with a small population spread out over it. Some of the friends from internet communities can live really far and a big event like that is a good opportunity to meet up. When bringing the computers to the place we can play games together in a local lan, which can be more fun than remotely.

It can be a surprising opportunity for a workout and running marathons! The expo area is very large and if you need anything from the shops or proper food (I am a picky eater and don't really consider Hesburger to be food), you have to go to the Mall of Tripla, which also serves as a train station. There just isn't anything else in that district and when the mall was under construction for a few years it was quite painful to get food - there were just a handful of Chinese places that were quite tricky to find too.

This year I enjoyed some random events at Assembly, stands with discounts (got a new mouse for a good price) and cute stuff. I think my best purchase was after all a Hedwig-themed bath robe.

As for the Lenovo booth, something that could be considered in the future would be an area for hanging out, without the computers. The computers were taken all the time by many excited youngsters and there wasn't a nice spot to sit down and just chat. Surely Lenovo can sponsor a couch to cram in there next time? 😄

Thanks for sharing your thoughts @Saka, appreciated! Hahaha a couch is a good idea 😄 I know what you mean about a workout. I remember my legs were soooooo tired after walking around for pretty much the whole day and indeed if I wanted to sit down it was usually a choice between the busy computer chairs or the cafeteria.

Hedwig bathrobe 😍🦉 I got a WoW Classic 1000-piece puzzle box as a gift for myself which I feel was my best purchase from Assembly. 😁
