    Hi everyone!

Last Friday we were guiding @DeviL3591 with World of Warcraft. He created a Human Monk and got himself all the way up to level 10. Cheers! Now you can join us for the low level dungeons on Alliance.

As we heard there might be a lot of Alliance players joining us this week, we'll be doing low level dungeons and possibly Skirmish Battlegrounds on Alliance side (again)!

If World of Warcraft is new game to you, you can read more about it here.

    When do we meet?
    Friday 19th August at 18:00 CEST (that's 19:00 FI time, 18:00 DK/NO/SE time and 17:00 UK time).

    Where?
Alliance, it's your turn! So we'll meet in Stormwind City at the start of the meetup and from there we'll group up (both in game and on Discord) and queue for some dungeons. If more players will appear, we might create second dungeon party and then swap players after every run. We can also try Skirmish Battlegrounds! Soldiers of the Alliance, raise your swords and head to a battle! We'll slain those Horde!

What do you need to join in?
You'll need an Alliance character that's level 10 or above. Ideally on the Silvermoon realm (server), but it's fine if you're on another realm, we can still play together due cross-realm game-play. If you don't have a subscription to WoW, don't worry, you can play with a trial account all the way until level 20 for free. More information about how to create your own trial account can be found here: World of Warcraft.

So get yourself in Azeroth and lets have some fun!

    How to register to join?
Just drop a reply in this topic to let us know you're interested. This is organised by the Nordic community, but the meetup will be in English so anyone is welcome to join regardless of country.

See you in Azeroth! Who's coming? Warcraft Legion, move out! 🙂

Have you ever seen Stormwind Embassy? It is pretty stylish place - kinda gives you this medieval, fantasy-styled feeling. True Human architecture!

I got to level.... 21 I think? Last time we did Alliance dungeons so will continue on from there with my Hunter alt 😁

I haven't done skirmishes as far as I remember so would love to try it out!

@Saka the meditation seemed to work well because your tanking was excellent 😄

I enjoyed playing together @Saka @Liue @LilMonsterTii @DeviL3591! Glad we figured out the dungeon restrictions eventually and @DeviL3591 hope you can join us soon - next time we might have a group of 5 then for some more dungeons! 😁

I levelled up my new Kul Tiran Healer Druid to 13 and managed to mostly keep people alive apart from when something unexpected happened and then panicked, or I got too ambitious with doing damage and forgot to check health lol

A memory from the Underbog 😄 Next time @Liue remind me to go full screen for the screenshots 😂

I should remember to take a few screenshots next time! I am just so bad at taking them since I had a time when I literally could not capture my screen - had some awesome problem on my Linux system - and it affected my habits a bit...I rarely think about pressing "the button".

@Saka you played WoW on Linux? 😄

Because I was on Windowed mode, my screenshots (I use the GeForce Experience screenshot feature) turned out pitch black lol. What worked was manually taking it with the Snipping Tool and saving to desktop in a hurry (file names were something like "werwerwerwer" hahahah I realised afterwards). So my learning: next time play full-screen mode 😂

By the way I haven't done a lot of duelling (seriously maybe a couple of times over many years only!) so it was super interesting. I'd like to try it out again a bit more, if anyone's up for that sort of thing at some point? But not against Rogues (yet) because there was nothing I could do except panic and beg 😂 I need to learn more about the skills.

@MoriMoonpaw Yup! Not long ago I went for about a year and half without having Windows installed at all. I got tired of Windows update regularly corrupting my partitions, which resulted in me having to restore the Linux by reinstalling its root part. Not fun. Most games were actually completely fine to play on Linux with some tweaking. Regrettably, it's still not plug and play.

Now on my laptop I put a second nvme drive and can have two systems worry-free again. When it's a separate drive I can make Windows completely oblivious to its presence. So now I game on Windows again and Linux is my work system. That also saves me headaches with Nvidia drivers, which uh... tend to be problematic on Linux.

So I was just rocking Windows on Friday, but I do have plenty of experience in playing WoW on Linux, including mythic raiding.
